Somebody mentioned earlier that all roles had been invited.
The whole thing seems fishy.

Re: Total E&P Nigeria CPFA Limited : 2019 Recruitment Programme Test Invite by GoodGrace: 8:41am On Jun 07, 2019
Relax @ everyone. This phase happens to everyone. Think about every time you were applying for a job, you believe that they should respond to you asap, right? This is not the case in reality. Now when you get into the company, you see how they approach recruitment... usually at snail speed, because they have other things on their plate.

Don't forget that there is work in CPFA as well! This process should not take up to 10% of executive time (even HR has other things on their plate!).

So these are the issues: 1) Long list of holidays 2) Getting the panel set up-not an easy process 3) Selecting the guys for the next stage is also not easy.

My advice still stands! Keep praying!

@MrSanity: you are a funny dude! You seem to operate in extremes.

Another thing you should consider is that we are in June! Recruitments that involve panels are usually slow in June! You want a 4-man panel to see peeps, but one oga is out for summer this week, another one is out next week.... Or you think they won't go on holidays because you want to join the company? Haba na! So there is reasonable quiet on the process.

@All: Some news...…. CPFA has started scheduling guys for the final stages. Personality test at workforce and final interview at Total. It may be advisable to take your mind off the process at this point.

They must have taken from their " people". Cos I have not seen a single person who has gotten a mail outside the one asking us to hold on and that people would be called in batches.
Well, it happens.
Thanks for the update

@MrSanity, you are funny. Baba.. u dey fall my hand! For an investment analyst, I no expect your deduction to be better nah.... 1) how many people are active on this forum? 10 or 12? How many people are likely to be in the first batch 25-30? How many people participated in the process? Over 1,000. So the probability that someone who was called is active on Nairaland is ca. (0.015*0.03). 2) People are quite guarded with roles like this! This is not a graduate role o. Guys keep quiet all the way till they get the job! If you are ahead in the process, you gain nothing by louding it here.... 3) Very smart guys won't say a word sef! They are aware that people who participate in the later stages are at an advantage! So you are best served not talking (I know of two friends involved in this process... One asked the other for information on the process, and the friend responded saying "I can't remember" standard and smart answer!) And before you say there is croynism, I would ask if you do have 10years experience with a private equity, infrastructure or real estate fund?

@People were further separated into batches.... If you finished with a first class from a federal uni and had a good performance at the tests CBI and technicals, you obviously stood a good chance to be in the first batch. Now CPFA would go through the first batch to pick a candidate before considering the second batch! So do not expect any communication from the company for the next 2-3weeks.

@Mcthewills: bro how can you expect a call for the final stage, when they did not even call you for the first stage? Or did you attend the first panel interview at CPFA last week?

So your prayers would be 1) that CPFA does not like anyone before your batch 2) that your batch comes up quickly 3) that you blow them off when they see you.
