In my whole life, i met one Igbo muslim(first and only till date) when i served in the north. The guy even took time to convince me he was igbo. I was so shocked.
Igbo muslims exist but so minimal in number, that is why most people(Igbos and Nigerians) have never seen or met them.

The wife is from a rich Muslim background and he needed a breakthrough but was giving conditions which one of them is converting to Islam before he will marry their daughter and they will help him.
His people were very disappointed cos of the reason not because he converted.
Majority of igbo people who are Muslims did that not out of love for the religion but selfishly but then again, we all are selfishly programmed so I don't blame them. If not for their archaic and barbaric ways of life and how they treat women, Muslims are good.
Very good to do biz with and I trust them. They help you from their heart if u gain their trust.

No one said majority of igbos are not Christians. Being the majority among igbos does not give them an edge over the Igbo Muslims. Just as the Igbo Christians have the right to build churches on Igbo land, the Igbo Muslims also have the same right. You cant stop them from practising Islam on Igbo soil.

If I remember correctly when I lived in onitsha. Onitsha has one mosque which was built by the governor of the state years ago. It was made for the Hausa/fulani in the state and they are the ones that patronize the mosque. Shit, unless something has changed but last I was in that City in 2013, it was still used being used by North in that state. There's no multiple mosque all over onitsha. Everything else that may even pass off as mosque in Onitsha beside the central mosque is small shacks made by again Northerners around where they predominantly reside in. You people need to stop coming on here writing some bullshit lies just to stroke your egos and force others to support that useless religion of yours
