A bus travelling from Lagos to Kano was involved in a terrible accident. Many passengers were burnt beyond recognition. It is unclear what led to the accident.More photos below

This is not accident from Port holes probably i'll say Negligence from the driver

Amen but....anyway I guess the loads may have altered their speed that's why I always love travelling with ABC or GIGM they dont over load their vehicles with loads

Most times, In such situation, Fear will automatically becloud our survival instincts. The shouts, prayers, agonies of the people around you will create great fear in you, you can’t even think of escaping.

Talking from experience though.

The accident happened around 3.30am on Saturday close to airport junction in Akure along Akure - Owo expressway. It was head on collision with a truck that lost control while trying to dodge a pothole. RIP

Most of these Nigerian drivers are possesed I tell you , they lack the right amount of intelligence to make good driving decisions

Sometimes people are unconscious or injured, this escape of a thing u r talking about is not dat easy in most accident situations.

You sound like you hardly take commuter buses/commercial vehicles. Most have no space to even maneuver your body much less escape.. esp sw buses with raised iron seats. Not to mention the blowback from the collision could have knocked most unconscious. Bus wey no suppose dey carry past 12 people
