I'm not an elder. Please just call me Bracelum (with no titles attached) - that would be fine.

I would suggest you take a more recent bank statement (less than 1 month) to avoid running risks of being placed on AP.

Alright. Thanks a lot

Nigerians with our selfish attitudes. We don't need to hear the gist on how your Visa was approved, all we want to hear is the useful informations in your story that can help others achieve what you achieved, not these I answered, I answered that you gave us instead of giving us the useful details.

Let's not be selfish here. You gained something from other people's Transcript. Why did you refused to let someone gain something from your own Transcript the same way you gained from someone's.

It won't reduce your your funding or take back your Approval if give your Transcript in details.
Please I need urgent replies. My DS-160 form was uploaded with my picture. Taking a passport photograph is acceptable or I have to create another application?

To be honest, I can't find any fault in your transcript. My only fear is the academic goal you have. I will be more comfortable with those responses if you are going for a PhD. However, I still think it is good to go.

Your school is a good school and your scholarship adds more credibility to your profile.

Is the lab thing legit? If it's true, then that is a great and unique characteristic of your program.

Overall, it is a good transcript!

Joe, passport is very important as a means of identification, I don't think there's an exception to that, and that's why they request u come with the hard copy of the passport u uploaded. So if u can fill another form, then u do that. In addition, I am not sure of this, DS should be submitted 3 days before interview date. @time2win @sharwama and others would give straight answers

My approved visa transcript..
Vo: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning (wondering why she rushed to tell me first).
Vo: Pass me your passport and I20.
Me: Passed.
Vo: So what Engineering are you going for.
Me: Mechanical
VO: Okay, how did you hear about the school?
Me: ( *my gosh ...I heard bout the school from a friend but Brown2Green and others advised me not to say so..I forgot to prepare another response* )
It was recommended to me by a friend that studies there..but I learnt most of what I know about the University from my visit.
Vo: Nodding, looked like she wasn't listening after I said 'friend'.

Vo: Is this your second F1 Visa?

Me: No.

Vo: You've been to the US?

Me: Yes.

Vo: What's the longest time you've spent there?

Me: 15 days.

Vo: Do you have any family in the US?

Me: No.

Vo: (looks like she saw something in her screen) Your Robotics competition last year, where in the US did you do it?

Me: Albuquerque...and Houston.

Vo: So did you win? (She looked anxious..and from this question she started smiling at me)
Me: We came 6th

Vo: Out of??

Me: (Thinking for about 4 seconds)

Vo: (Smiling) around 60?

Me: I think we were over a hundred.

Vo: Wow..(smiling even more).

Vo: You visited this school?

Me: Yes.

Vo: did you apply to other schools?

Me: Yes.

Vo: Name them

Me: Howard University, Emory University, Trinity College, IIT Chicago, SMU Dallas, Loyola Marymount University..(I didn't mention some others and the federal schools that I applied to)

Vo: (Nodding as I spoke..I heard her saying wow when I mentioned Emory). Okay so did you get into those schools?

Me: I got into Howard, IIT Chicago, SMU Dallas, LMU..(didn't mention a few others that I got into coz I didn't say I applied to them).

Vo: So why did you choose this school?

Me: When I visited their campus, I was impressed with their close knit community and engineering program..I was also admitted into their honors program which opens up more opportunities for me, and then I was given a scholarship.

Vo: Okay (looks at my I20) So who is paying for the remaining cost?

Me: My Parents

Vo: What do they do?
Me: My Dad is the managing director of Bleep and my mum works as an assistant general manager at the bla..bla..

Vo: Your dad's business, what is it?

Me: (couldn't hear, asked her, she repeated). An eye clinic.

Vo: Picks up a white paper.

I was in an illusion when I saw the white paper...was thinking of the past, present and future all at once..I couldn't hear what she was saying (something about pick up in 3 days)..the next thing she gave me back my passport..I was confused..until I saw it was my old passport that she detached and gave back to me..She held my current one.

Vo: Do well in school..have a nice day.

Me: Thank you.

I was in an illusion when I saw the white paper...was thinking of the past present and future all at once..I couldn't hear what she was saying (something about pick up in 3 days)..the next thing she gave me back my passport..I was confused..until I saw it was my old passport that she detached and gave back to me..She held my current one.

Vo: Do well in school..have a nice day.

Me: Thank you.

The transcript is not that good. What will the work of Prof. DAE do for him. Why is he interested in it. He needs to bring the work home to Nigeria. The deficiencies and how the work/research would improve Nigeria. VO gets uncomfortable when you just throw out that school has the best this or that when it’s not Ivy League or top 20 ranked. Say the lab or center is renowned for biotechnology researches in the US...
