the house is actually a public place that anyone can go in except the lawmakers have closed door meeting. Members of the public have where they sit and watch proceedings of the lawmakers so the house chambers is not a secluded place in the first place.

Moreover it's their inauguration day so all and sundry can be there including their wives and children
