BaaleOko:You are more vile than an average Igbo malevolent antagonist and I hope the SS would address your divisive attempt as insanely as your mental reasoning. Every blade of grass in the SS is a separate identity to the igbos. Try as you might, you can't severe the bonding that had existed among them hundreds of decades before they came into contact with the igbos. Before 2008, Ijaws were previously supposedly a nobody till their status was elevated and with the Urhobos one step at a time, it only looks brighter, sooner than we might expect. And as many more minorities as daring to step up to the plate, you are sure to remain a bottom feeder for as much longer years. *spits -Lion |

The OP is right on point. I watched the Senate proceedings in a gathering of distinguished Igbo intelligentsia and the raw bitterness they displayed at Omo-Agege's victory was just shocking. I didn't even view it from the angle of SS betrayal initially until I stumbled on this and a similar thread on the board, because they had me convinced that their hardline opposition to Omo-Agege was because of his seemingly unpardonable satanic crime of snatching the mace. An eye opener to the discerning really. |

If Kalu was in race, ekeremadu or kalu could have won. Let mar say that it is an igbo man, kanu, that made OA won the election. In place of work yesterday, most guys were not happy that OA won and all of us are yorubas. Politics is about interest . Personally, I prefer Kalu to OA. |

Bede2u:If you are not as little as a 5 year old kid, I would just as much to juggle your memory. 2 years ago, There was a Kaduna declaration which sent Ndigbo into tumult. You should rather be thankful that there was no Ibadan declaration to seal up that of the former. It'd have been goodnite Biafra. And we are also aware that once upon a time in history, Igbos, while they hijacked power, became so much beastly that after they had killed the Sardauna, they made a caricature of his dead body, insulting the sensibilities of the North. The rest they say is history. If you would focus on the speckles in your eyes, 50 years on, you'd still have a lot left to deal. -Lion |

AbaLion:You literally rode the back of a North to get yourself out of opposition that you were in for years. Yes the NORTH actually is your trainer. As I said, go back and get trained in divide and rule attempts. Yours is beyond obvious and just make you people look DESPERATE!! You can keep claiming you aren't begging. This your thread states otherwise. Anybody with sense can read between the lines hence you aren't even the only one that opened a topic of the manner. Another one of your Afonja people equally opened a similar topic and in the replies, your Afonja people were practically groveling for SS to "know their allies" aka indicating yourself. You people are DESPERATE for SS unity. It's obvious. Grovel some more unity; you aren't done. I need deep tears with your noses dripping. And while you wailing about Asari that you people are lifting as your master is still running around begging to be Biafra and begging for attention. Even at that an Igbo bloodline is equally ruling one of the lands of the tribe Asari hail from.... The same can't be said about them. Lastly, we all know who's in the right status. After all, one of your land has a not one of you ruling you and currently his people have surrounded your entire lands and having a field day there. Who knows their plans of surrounding of your entire lands. Very likely waiting to pounce and finish what they started years ago. Lastly, I'm from Delta State. You know the region you currently begging to unite with you. You know your golden bride. Like I said, don't disturb me unless it's your begging and desperation. I just want to see more desperation. Kneel down better, your ass licking is too mild. Lick SS asses better. Oh while I'm at, it's still fresh in our mind how you Afonja claimed SE was against Anioma when an Anioma was appointed in Buhari's administration in year 2015. We all still remember the bullshit that is the claim. Advice: try a different divide and rule tactics. If it failed the first time, it doesn't work. Go and get educated by your Hausa/fulani masters how to do it right. |

Gabriel004:Go and read your history, although those positions, I personally doesn't value them, that's why I never participated in the debate from day one, my concern is my governor and those representing our Constituencies from federal to state level. Igbos has been elected more than any tribes in hallow chamber in Nigeria 1st Nigeria indigenous Senate president Nnamdi Azikiwe 2nd Nigeria Senate president Denise Osadebe 3rd Nigeria Senate president Nwafor Orizu First Democratic elected Senate president Evan Enwerem, followed by Chuba Okadigbo, Pius Anyim and Ken Nnamni before David Mark and Sarrki AbaLion:I know you are from Osun You should be more concern about your newly elected governor and how he will pull out your debted state from misery index |

Akiara:But it's the same Yoruba that made Jonathan a president when other tribes were against him or see him as a week fellow. Obj a Yoruba man singlehandedly abrogate the PDP zoning arrangement, Tinubu, Tunde Bakare and co protested severally to make sure cabals handed over power to Jonathan, Tinubu formed alliance with him and Jonathan won in almost SW states. Until the man Jona forgot his past and betrayed them n funnily the SE that played no roles when Yardau cabals was reigning are the ones that hijacked his givernment. So don't blame Yoruba for his shortcomings |

Ikechu12:Those guys are very pathetic, he said that SS was former SW , this is when I knew that the guy is an empty skull.. The part of SS that was former SW was today's Edo and Delta.. Infant, when Edo and Delta were with SW, SW humiliated them so much that agitation kept erupting day by day, hence the creation of mid west Nigeria.. Infact Oba of Benin a First Class monarch was humiliated in a way that he was an ordinary floor member in the house of Chiefs in SW.. Their parents have failed to teach them why mid west was hurriedly created.. To tell you how dumb the Op is, he went ahead to tell me that All SS supported Abiola just to keep selling his awkward narrative.. He forgot that the same Abiola won in Enugu and Anambra, failed in Rivers Cross River and Others . Abiola's election result from Today's SE and SS was mixed up.. The same SS they demonised years ago. When Igbos were with Jonathan which gave rise "Igbos are pillars of my administration ", Yoruba Muslims are still crying because of that statement till now.. Average yiryba muzlem is very dft.. |

TundeBricklayer:Actually the credit goes to saharareporters.com, they broke the news of Ya'radua's death, then Akunyili but the real work started from Lagos to ibadan, the likes of wole soyinka and femi falana were on the streets protesting, how many prominent Igbo men protested on behalf of Jonathan? |

AbaLion:SENSELESS THE FACT IS THAT, THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN SEPARATE THE SOUTHSOUTH FROM THE SOUTHEAST, BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME IGBOS IN DELTA(SS), THERE ARE IGBOS IN RIVERS(SS), SOME OF THEM SHARE SIMILAR CULTURE MOSTLY IN DRESSING, AND THEY ARE MAINLY CHRISTIANS... SO ALSO THE NORTHWEST AND THE NORTHEAST... SEN. OMO AGEGE IS FROM DELTA CENTRAL, AND EVEN THOSE IN DELTA SOUTH, AND DELTA NORTH DID NOT CELEBRATED IT , NOT EVEN THE IJAWS, OGOJA, EFIK, IBIBIO LET ALONE THOSE AT THE FAR SOUTHEAST.... BEFORE U BRING UP THOUGHTS TO PUBLIC ALWAYS MAKE RESEARCH. WHAT IS THE SITUATION FOR THAT OF NORTHWEST, NORTHEAST AND NORTHCENTRAL ![]() YOUR WRITE-UP LACK SENSE...WELDONE |

Very senseless post. In 2003, Igbos voted against Ojukwu for a yoruba man. That same year, we voted against ANPP's Hausa/Igbo ticket for Yoruba. In 2007, we voted against ANPP's NW/SE and ACN's NE/SE, PPA's SE/NW (PPA was fielding OUK) to vote for NW/SS. In 2011, Ohaneze banned all Igbo politicians and Ojukwu shoved his ambition for a SS/NW ticket and we voted massively for them. In 2015, we voted massively for SS/NW while 2019 was the first SE votes was splited beyond their traditional 96%-4% despite having an Igbo blood on the ballot. For a typical Igbo man, we have gone beyond NASS election and we have moved on, we have never depended on the govt for any poo. The only effect this has on us is re-enforcing our belief that APC is anti-Igbo. We'd continue to embrace our PDP and work hard to return them to power in 2023. |

Bede2u:In the first republic, Igbos occupied both President and Senate President. Nobody knows about this, because we are not making noise. In the second republic, Igbos occupied VP and Speaker. No noise was made Third Republic was ill-fated. In the fourth republic, we have produce, DSP and Deputy Speaker together, DSP and acting Speaker and then SP for 8 years, DSP for 12. There were no noise. Anyway, they played their games well. They should enjoy it. One thing Yorubas don't do, even in the UK is to look out for their brothers. They want to take all. |

yemaldo:That is the problem with you guys, taking credits for what you know not, just like you guys are taking credit for 2019 elections. It was Akunyili at the FEC that stood up to northern cabals, Bala Mohammed moved the motion at the senate while ACN voted against it. They declared the action of senate as unconstitutional. When they were constituting nuisances at the senate chamber, it was the Igbo DSP that advised them to their madness to the court. Which they threatened to do. When the entire nation was celebrating the good news, they had to beat a retreat. |
