One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest-
The whole ruckus, hullabaloo and humour didn't get me. What got me was McMurphy's slightly insane smile, sitting down by the open window while the granite faced Chief towers over him like a monument to an unknown god. I knew there and then where the story was headed, although I didn't envisage the shocking finale. This movie has made me appreciate Jack Nicholson's talent as an actor. Superb portrayal!

8.5/10

WALL-E-
Scepticism almost made not to download this movie. I mean, how can an animated film about a garbage disposal robot be of any interest to anyone??

I was so wrong.

This movie is very interesting, funny, sweet, and most importantly, makes a social commentary. I didn't even know an animated movie with more emphasis on visuals than dialogue can evoke such powerful emotions.

9.5/10.

Wallace and Gromit- The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Typical British humour. There is something very attractive about the crispy, upper class English accent.

Funny movie though.

MODIFIED!!!

I am Mother 6/10. SPOILERS

A Sci-fi/thriller Australian Movie(All female character).
The movie started with a repopulation facility after an extinction event has taken place in the outside world.
Tho the movie started with a nice storyline with A droid(Mother) who had access to a collection of 63,000 human embryos and one day, she decides to grant life to one of them, birthing a child Named Daughter.
They refuse to Explain what happend to other humans
And they should have explained who Created The Droid (MOTHER) since their is no indication she's Alien or sort.

They did mention about Others e.g Simon and his Sister who were hiding At the mines( they also did not show the mines) only to show a beach with A wrecked ship filled with containers and the Strange woman telling Daughter that the remaining survivors were Dead Long Gone

The Droid(Mother) Looked and acted so real, from Movement reaction and especially the Speed when running (the scene she was after the Strange woman who took Daughter hostage).

After Daughter encounter with The strange lady from the Outside world and convincing Daughter to find out that the Droid(mother) did incubate lots of embryo who all did not meet up to what The Droid(Mother) wanted to start a new/perfect Humans.

I was expecting a Battle at the End of the movie between The Remaining survivors at the mines with The Droids(Soldiers) which never Happened because they Never care to even Show the Survivors.

If you're a Fan of sci-fi you can still give it a Trial, tho from the Trailer i was expecting it to be more intense with Droids and humans war kinda Movie.

tho Rotten tomatoes gave it a 90% ratings
still wondering how it got the 90% with other sci-fi movies with better story line not receiving up to 50%
eg Ghost in the Shell.

Bros, you clearly didnt understand the movie. Even though it took me 2 days to finish the film undecided

There was no survivors at the mines, the lady made it up. She stated it when the girl confronted her.

Then the scene where the droid met the lady at the ending, the dialogue was clear. The lady was also born from that facility.

Lastly, the mother droid was the villain and doesnt need a particular droid engine to emerge.

The movie was just mehhhh, na boredom force me watch am.

I just caught the last 40 minutes of a movie right now, based on a true life story and set in Jim Crow Texas. Denzel Washington was the teacher and mentor of a debate team from a lowly negro school called wilo college. The team managed to debate their way across the states and take on Havard in the final. The closing debate by the young 14 year almost brought tears to a niggas eyes grin

Has anyone watched this movie and please what's the title? I was hoping to catch the title in the post credit scenes but the useless station went straight to commercials.
