You will have the funds when the time is right. Don't let money hinder your health. Its not easy carrying multiple fibroids. If the fibriods are still small, they can be removed through the virgina and you don't have to go through cs and that is if they all located inside the womb.
Funds should not be your priority but getting the best surgeon that will handle it properly and that you end up getting pregnant in no time.

My advice if you are not married, please wait and talk to your hubby about it and plan it. So that once you do it, you can start planning to have kids

General hospitals don't charge too much for both fibroid and cs delivery. They have condultants there that will do the job effectively. During my antenatal at the general hospital one of the doctors that examined asked about my previous scar and told him it was fibroid removal and he asked how much i did he was amazed and said it was too expensive.
If you are in Lagos go to Apapa Health Centre and make further enquiries

Let me save this , seem am a bit relief with. I could recall two years back I was told to bring two paints of blood and to also carried out HVS (hope I got it right Sha, it expensive test like that ) and I was told to choose the date I want my self. But sister I ran alway oh. Those around me are bunch of bad energy. I was told all manner of stories about those that went for surgery and never came back, I wish I had ran here may be by now I would have fought this battle long time ago. TTc is not an easy journey.

It's HSG test cost range between 15k to 20k. I was asked to do it too but eh nne the process of the yeye lab ladies to see my cervix was so painful i wept even b4 the procedure started. In the end they couldn't do it cos my cervix was blocked by the fibriods. Till date that lab still owe me 20k.

It is good that you are married cos when i wasnt whenever i go to Apapa Health Centre to see the doctor the first question is are you married? Because the chances of it growing back is there if you dont fall pregnant months after the procedure.

After removal of the fibriods in 2017 five months later i went for scan and found a seedling of fibroid. I was angry and disappointed but as i got pregnant in 2018 the place where the seedling of fibroid was located was where i saw my baby growing without any cyst or fibroid.

Please just remove it before it complicates things further. Some fibriods on end up blocking or destroying the tubes and you need your tubes to be clear for fertilisation and movement of eggs. Mine was very big but it didnt block my tubes.

It is well my sister. God will provide funds. But like i said earlier get a certified gynecologist surgeon that has been doing it for years not just any doctor. I beg you. You can also go to LASUTH the doctor that did mine is one the gynecological consultant there. I did in the private clinic because the booking for surgery in LASUTH was full for 2017 and was asked to book it in 2018.

I paid for two pait of blood 42k but the doctor didnt use it cos weeks before the procedure i blended and sieve vegetables and drink. It help build my blood and they didn't refund my money. They do that just incase there is blood loss during the procedure and may need it. Just do what i did. I think it helped me alot.

I did my own procedure in 2015 and six weeks later l was fully back to work..

I was scared of surgery too but after spending almost a million buying drugs both locally and internationally, l resorted to surgery and four years after,l don't even have the slightest trace or symptoms of fibroid

I even underwent the surgery fully conscious and watched the removal of the fibroid after being injected with Epidural..

So, as someone who's undergone the same health problem,l strongly advice your sister to go for surgery.....l can even recommend an excellent surgeon if she can afford his medical fees..

Don't listen to anyone that tells you that there's an alternative. She should go for surgery and remove those parasites cos thoses things hindered me for many years until i removed it surgically.

Yes i also vowed never to go under the knife but over the years in search for tradironal alternative to shrink the fibriods made it bigger and it filled my womb. I discovered I had it in 2014 and it was 3 small tumors that with my search for alternative grew over the in to tumors that look like 25 weeks old pregnancy.

I went online, infact Nairaland TTC thread, i thought i was alone but many women have conquered it and they all removed it surgically and they encouraged me to remove it and i should not be afraid. FEAR is a thief of time!!!! Tell your sister to join the the ttc thread on Nairaland and see her situation change for better. Nothing will happen to her i removed it in 2017 and today am a mother!!!! I dont have it anymore!!!!!

If you want a certified gynecologist please tell her to go to teaching hospital, if you are in Lagos, please go to gynecological section in LASUTH.

Surgery is the only confirmed way of removing uterine fibroids. I keep telling people that though it is good to pray but God answers these prayers via several ways.medical science is an extension of God's hands.The hospital( proven ones) enlightens one into the full knowledge of the state of his health.

We really need your advice on this crucial matter. We have a sister who has been diagnosed with fibroid. Having seen a few doctors, she is confronted with solving the problem through undergoing surgery to evacuate the mass. However, she would prefer an alternative to surgery to evacuate the fibroid.

There is a bit of background. She has a daughter from a previous relationship. Her husband has two children from his previous relationships. However, they want to have children together, which has not happened. Everyone supposes that the fibroid issue may be blocking fertility between them.

Is there a confirmed non-surgical procedure that has worked with anyone out there? Where did the lady go for this non-surgical evacuation? What is the rate of success? What is the cost implication?

Please, counsel and insights are urgently needed.
