I think i saw one when i was about 5 or 6. I saw a lot of things at that age and never really spoke of them.
Some times i'd walk outside at night and see a group of females dancing around a fire like they'd come for a meeting or walk to the gate in the day time and see a person in white standing there(didn't look like an angel to me, twas actually the opposite) funny enough i wasn't scared seeing them. Today i'd think of it and pass it off as childish imagination but i think deep down i know that's not the case.

Now my angel story...he came in form of a man.
I was going home one day with my lil sis(she was about 3) from school; decided to take an alternate route. After walking for about 15mins or so i realised we were quite lost. A lady noticed we'd bn walkin aimlessly for a while so she called me. Told her were i lived/school's name, while we were yet speaking a young man in white(shirt n trousers) showed up from nowhere..spoke with the lady n said he'd take us back to school. I assumed he was a student anyway. He walked behind us never saying a word while my sis n i chated happily in front.
Few mins later we got back to schl, he told me to always take d familiar route home. I turned back in less than 3secs to thank him n he was gone. Just like that. It wasn't a busy street n nobody clda disappeared in a split second.
Got home n forgot about it, i wasn't scared the least.

Took me a few yrs to realise i had met my angel . Woke up one morning and it hit me.
I was a child with a responsibility, scared n lost but God sent me help .
I'll always be grateful for that.

I use to be very scared at night but that fateful day, i had no option but to sleep alone since my younger brother whom we share the same room with decided to pass the night in the living room. That night, though uncomfortable, i managed to sleep, yet terrified. But all of a sudden, as i woke up, the image i saw on the wall beside me was that of a man, huge, something that was beyond description in terms of stature with an outstretch arm. Though the room was dark, i could clearly see him staring at me. The most amazing thing was that, i wasn't scared, instead i had peace and confidence, and it was as if fear was immediately pull off me. That day marks the end of any fear of darkness in my life. I had no doubt that i had encounter an angel, but i needed proof from the bible to confirm my experience until i came across Psalm 34v7 that explain how every child of God is appointed an angel. God be praise.
