Oparanozie is no longer on d same wavelength with Oshoala & Ordega. If we scale to d next round, I expect Kanu to come in her stead to partner Oshoala & Ordega. Just my thinking tho. If we must use the defence & counter style. 5 Likes |

Somewhere in the world, Platini and Blatter are laughing their heads off.. They warned us that too much technology in football would eventually ruin the game, and today’s match, in addition to some other games in the World Cup have vindicated them 6 Likes 1 Share |

if the team progresses, oparanozie should be deployed as the main striker while kanu plays behind her and should be instructed to drop deep to help in the midfield. oparanozie is well built and should be taught how to be more aggressive when attacking 4 Likes |

the team should also learn how to play out from defense rather than gifting the opposition possession by making aimless clearances when they are not on pressure 4 Likes |

taught in the sense that the coach should direct and mandate her to use her aggressiveness and force more when deployed as the team's top striker.she is the bull of the team and can give opposing teams a lot of problems with her robust style of play Earthquake3: |

charlesemeka85: She played as a top striker most of the game, though she has the strength to bully defenders she does not have the agility to take the ball from them I see her as a focal point but the Nigerian girls can't get a pass to her to hold up 1 Like |

Nigeria were beaten by a solitary strike from France's defender, Renard in their last group game of the 2019 Women's World Cup on Monday. Allnigeriasoccer.com's Emmanuel Chinaza provides a lowdown on how the Super Falcons fared in the clash thus, The Starters Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie: Sprightly. Quick off her lines to thwart attacks and held on well to every shot from the opposition. Could do little to deny Renard from the spot in the retaken penalty. (8/10) Defenders Chidinma Okeke: Energetic. Looked very much up to the task of matching the witty Niney for pace and put in a good showing overall. (7/10) Onome Ebi: Shackled Valerie Gauvin and never looked like she would get beaten to the ball in aerial duels. (9/10) Osinachi Ohale: Another brilliant outing from Ohale. Put her body in the line now and then and battled admirably. (8.5/10) Ngozi Ebere: Another of the laudable performers from this game. Contained every thing thrown at her for much of it, in earnest. Unfortunately earned herself a second booking and a VAR-induced penalty for impeding Diani in the box. (7/10) Midfielders Halimatu Ayinde: Complimented Okobi in the middle and was technically solid. (6.5/10) Rita Chikwelu: Sturdy in his midfield challenges — a bedrock to the team's solidity in the midfield battle and hardly looked relenting. Booked. (7.5/10) Ngozi Okobi: Raided the opposition rear on occasions and was up for it. Dropped off down the left flank more often and provided some support for the attackers. (7/10) Attackers Francisca Ordega: Brought some flair with her movements though final crosses and end products was hit-and-miss. Dazzled occasionally. (6/10) Asisat Oshoala: Went on a few rampaging runs but was well kept under lock and key by Mbock and noticeably tired too early in the second half. (5/10) Desire Oparanozie: Forced a good reflex save from goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi early on and was also adept in helping out in the middle. (6/10) The Substitutes Evelyn Nwabuoku: Came on for Oparanozie and showed promise in getting behind the opposition defence. (5/10) Anam Imo: Saw little to work on after her introduction (5/10) Uchenna Kanu: On for Oparanozie in added time. |
