The construction company needs to be called to fix this not the govenor. He has done his part, the company that did the shady job will be held responsible for this

Abogwara aka Imo1stson over to you. Lol

The entire Owerri is an eyesore. The town is covered in sand dunes, bad roads and filth.

Okoroawusa just wasted 8yrs doing nothing except looting and mountain of debt.

But Rochas in his dubious and greedy nature engaged the fake construction company. What happened to Berger, Mcc, RCC and co,?

I disagree with you on this. You are the same set of people that will be complaining no job when those companies mentioned bring in expertrate to do the job you can do.

The state government should sanction them or sue them to court or better still fix the bridge whatever the case, something needs to be done and not this blame game, lives of people are at stake!! .

Motorists in Owerri, Imo State capital, plying the flyover across Okigwe/Orji road, by former Orji mechanic village, are now exposed to danger as the flyover is beginning to show signs of dilapidation.

The flyover was constructed and opened to public use by former governor of the state and Senator representing Imo West, Rochas Okorocha.

On top of the flyover, there is a spot that seems to be sinking on one of the lanes.

Tires were used to cover the spot due to the danger it posed to motorists.

Some observers are of the opinion that the bridge should be closed to motorists while the structure is re-examined to check its strength and safety.

I'll still say see the bridge Imo State Government built as much as we may not like it. Yes, the buck stopped at his table as the number one citizen of Imo State but this is beyond him. I am not saying he is not to blame but whatever happened to his commissioners and the ministry. Or he overrode them here too? I don't want us to lose sight of us as a people

So Rochas was the only governor in Nigeria? Umahi also built flyovers and they are standing till date, Akpabio built flyovers, they are still standing, Amaechi built flyover she. he was governor, its still standing
It is really very stupid always defending mediocrity, how do you guys even do this?

From your name you sound like a northerner, you people brought in corruption to this country, how would you say we should blame the government of Imo whilst Rochas is the CAO of Imo treasury? Why didn't he give the contract to notable companies instead of family and friends? Hausa people taught us Nepotism 101 and that's the seed of corruption, Nigeria would never develop with the Hausa people at the helm of affairs, very corrupt bunch of religious bigots

AND ROCHAS OKOROCHA WANT TO BE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA WITH THIS HIS DRUNKARD MAN CREDENTIAL.

He has held this passion to be President for close to 15 years now.

He is going to wait for so long.

IF THE IGBOS WANT TO FORWARD A VIABLE CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION OF PRESIDENT THEN WE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT EX-GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE, MR PETER OBI.

Certainly not Rochas Okorocha aka IBERIBERISM !

The expatriate do a good job and make sure kick back don't affect the quality unlike the Nigerian companies you advocate for are ready to offer 50% kick back and do poor work like this bridge.

Which do you prefer since the politicians are greedy.
