Berger built the Eleme junction butterfly interchange at Port-Harcourt and it has been under steady maintenance right from the year of construction till date. It's true that standards defer but every infrastructure must bow to pressure or nature if little issues are left unattended for political reasons.

What you are talking about is my profession, who pays upfront for a bridge. Potholes is not the same as a failing bridge.

That picture is not a cracking bridge. A section of the embarkment is settling in but not the bridge.

Anambra's problem is massive erosion, NOT the poor quality of work..... These flyovers in Owerri weren't affected by erosion.... The quality was just so damn appalling....

Lol don't mind him. All the erosion that affected roads in Anambra has been fixed but he brought the old pictures to justify the mess in Owerri.

Nkpor flyover was not even affected but it was the approach road that erosion attacked and it was fixed immediately as shown below

Look at the picture well.

The only reason there is a straight line crack before the failed section shows you where hard concrete stopped.

On the other side, there is a similar line of cracks showing where concrete stopped.

The part that failed is not part of either bridge and is definitely not concrete. So it cant be part of the bridge failing.

these are all failures in structures when u fail to carry out construction with the appropriate criteria, design & construction technique failure is inevitable I sure it's not an Engineer that built the bridge even from physical observation

When they were building that bridge, I passed there severally. They were using 6inches hollow blocks with irons inside the blocks.

I vowed never to ply that bridge.
