Hi everyone, I have a few questions please. 1) i have two bank accounts. I paid my fees from one and the other is my salary account. do i need to submit the account statement of the one the fees was paid from or just my salary account statement and my sponsors account statement? 2) will I be denied if I took a salary earner loan ? 3) if my sponsor is my uncle and we have the same surname do i still need to prove our relationship ? 4) if I paid 6000 euros which is half of my fees, and my sponsor has about 3.3M will that be enough to get the visa? |

Please can anyone give me information about cheap accommodation for incoming student in Dublin. I’m going for sept 2019 TU Dublin (MSc) and I heard student apartments are more expensive. |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Sholsp: 11:08am On Jun 18, 2019 |
@Anthony24, try Lucan or Inchicore, there you can get affordable places and not too far from TUD. |

Hi everyone, Please I’m new here and I have some questions. I got offer letters from Griffith and NCI for MSc in Accounting and Finance.I’ve been reading posts on this thread and I’m a bit discouraged to go with Griffith which was the school I initially intended to pay to. Please I really need advice cos I would like to get a part time job while schooling to assist with my basic needs. Secondly, does it mean there’s only hope for IT guys cos most people keep stating that it might be very difficult getting a job in accounting or other fields asides IT. My sponsor is in the US, I would like to know the documents he is to provide. Thank you guys, I’ll be waiting for your replies |

goof: 1) i have two bank accounts. I paid my fees from one and the other is my salary account. do i need to submit the account statement of the one the fees was paid from or just my salary account statement and my sponsors account statement? Both accounts will be presented 2) will I be denied if I took a salary earner loan ? Not necessarily , once you have other clarified means of paying back outside working in Ireland -i.e ur repayment plan can not include anything relating to Ireland 3) if my sponsor is my uncle and we have the same surname do i still need to prove our relationship ? Yes, documents showing relationship -- maternal or paternal 4) if I paid 6000 euros which is half of my fees, and my sponsor has about 3.3M will that be enough to get the visa? Embassy requires at least 80 percent of ur tuition; personally u need to show 3m as PoF, your sponsor should not be left with 300k logically 3.3m is not even scratching the surface yet |

Well,is wise for your sponsor to show the balance of your tuition fee for one year, and your required one year expense which is 7000 euro . I know Irish visa is not strict like Canada etc. possibly, let your sponsor show additional money to prove he is well to do ,and will be comfortable after paying your fees . |

slimdaddy2822:Do not attempt that. I repeat do not attempt such so you don’t end up regretting it. There is a PPSn number given to all legal registered residents with which you can work legally and get taxed. Coming to Ireland illegally will make you work for a job called under G or cash at hand. You remain illegal and mostly at the mercy of Nigerian restaurants who pay as little as €50 per day. Above all, you remain illegal and dent your travel history which makes it pretty difficult for you moving to another country. Lastly, do NOT attempt that for your own good. Thank you |

Nicholekamsy: How do you want us to help you make a decision on your career pursuits? What made you apply to Griffith and NCI? which school's course structure will give you the right employable skills? I think these are things you have to cover , working part-time is strictly 20 hours a week no matter which of the schools you choose. it all depends on how you can make time for important things on your schedule and less important things (or multitask). As per your sponsor being in US- same requirements sponsors present in Nigeria is required- / speak to your agent |

slimdaddy2822: Oga bla bla bla... it's a free world now- apply for your visa but know you may be banned for 5 years if you misrepresent or provide false documents . You may also be deported if your intentions are not genuine- people are still making it in Nigeria so no need for desperation . If you are confident that some employers may sponsor you on arrival with a tourist visa , why not let start applying to them in Nigeria and get your legal permit from here? 1 Like |
