Medical visas are taking like forever, meanwhile they are busy approving tourist/visit visas like it's hot. Mtchewww

True. Mind took eight weeks. Visa stamping another one weeks plus.

If you are not pregnant , and you intend to give birth in Canada. Better apply now, go for visit and use your Visa for childbirth later. If pregnant, try and apply while you are still at your first trimester. Its beginning to look like Canada is delaying medical Visa on purpose.

Baby could drop any moment from now, My wife and I have given up, when the Visa comes, we'll use it for our next baby.

Wow!
And how many weeks are you now?

People are trying to be sincere with their application and stating medical as purpose of visit and they are just keeping their applications till forever, while they are busy giving those that hide tummy and lied about their intention. Canada embassy, na una dey do una self undecided

Just like not everyone who applies for tourism will get visa, same as medical. we really do not know why they r taking so long as it is better for people to apply way early nd then wait. This is also a busy time with processing of all kinds of visa .

Good luck everyone

Good afternoon House, please I just tracked my application status but couldn't see any other thing rather than "NO RECORDS FOUND" please does it mean my application was never seen? Or yet to be attended to? Has anyone else been in this situation before and still later got their Visa approved?? I applied on 3rd June did biometric on 6th June which they confirmed the processing via Email.

Good evening all. Pls how is the visa on arrival usually processed. We logged into the Nigeria lmmigration website to apply for a visa on arrival for our new born, it turns out it’s actually a business visa. The information seems vague as they are demanding for introduction letter, addresses of local and foreign companies etc.
am wondering if am in the right portal.
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 10:51pm On Jun 19, 2019
There is no Visa on arrival anymore for babies. VOA is really for people is business like going to naija for biz

Good morning All, I know everyone is complaining about processing time but I think mine is now on another level. I applied 27th of March 2019 and as we speak no update yet (applied online) it’s 3 months underprocessing and quite frustrating. I have sent two mails and nothing yet. Pls advise. Thank you and have a lovely day

I guess your application has done somewhere around 42-47 days now, if this is correct and the next application processing time update stays in the 40-49 days region, you may get a decision made mail next week, the upper week at most, normally.... All the best!

So frustrating.
I guess best to have plan B of giving birth here in 9ja if visa is approved too late to travel and then plan to use it for next delivery/holiday.

Almost 3 months now and am here hoping against hope that their original 2 weeks processing time works for me as mine is just 2 weeks today. grin
Na wa.
