Why do people always have a default religious bias? That quote could have been lifted from a Shakespearean text and no one would have protested against it. I bet many people didn’t won’t have known that it was from the Bible if the word “Ecclesiastics” was not used.

We’ve got to start thinking more differently

Lazy students everywhere. Simply question asking them to describe water cycle is what is causing outrage.

You forgot transpiration and most importantly run-off; that's the complete water cycle.

He is a proffesor of Islamic studies and he's respected by Muslims nation wide. It doesn't change the fact that I'm a Christian, but we have to commend him

You guys can be stupid and daft when you want to be, just like now. What kind of reasoning is this. Why do we like to portray ourselves as hypocrites?

I ccan see that you are preaching tolerance here, don't you think CAN and many Christians need this more? Shouting Islamisation agenda at every fvcking opportunity they get

Be polite and less abusive. Do you know if am a Christian?

I just expressed my own view buh I keep seeing daft and stupid in ur response.

Do we need that?

Religion shouldn't separate us please

indeed the question has nothing to do with religion but if it had been the other way round, people would have screamed "Islamization"

But will you feel. If you meet any Qur'an verse in your question paper?

To me it changes nothing.

I will answer it.

Not the first time self.

Even in CRS, they will ask where to Muslim worship and what is the name of their holy books. I will answer without any issues.

And come to think of it higher institution as well. I took Islamic Economics and finance even as a course on it's own.

In Ican SFM, there exist this same topic and they quoted a lot of Holy Qur'an verses.

I read all and I attempted the question even in my diet exam because I have to.

I don't take any issue in all these.

Don't u think the normal quotes which we work on everyday are religions to some people in some other countries

No offense pls

Hypocrite. If its Quran they quote, will you guys accept??

Sorry sir. I am not an hypocrite.

I will answer the question without any issues.

And like i told u. You hardly see few Christians that can say the verse of the Bible that contains this quote if not that the examiner put the reference.

Even me I don't know. I think we should understand the concept and leave all religion issues in this.

And besides, i didn't write this particular exams.

No offense pls.

If I see the same in my examination involving Islam or Holy Qur'an. I will still answer the question (s) and I have done so in the past.

Water absorption is from the roots and this is tied in with run-off. So basically, when the water hits the soil and the soil is saturated then run-off begins. The roots take from the water which enters the soil so it is already factored in the water cycle already

hope u see that the bible verse makes sense and in tandem with science. you can hardly find any loopholes in this to shout about, even if u want to shout.
if u like go and start quoting about 72 virgins that is illogical .... then we will shout

lol!
You aren’t so right bro.

Precipitation hitting the ground are either infiltrated into the soil, flow to the nearby stream as run off or evaporated back to the atmosphere.

Some of the infiltrated water into the soil are absorbed by the plant roots through osmosis, while the others go down to be stored on the aquifer.

How is it possible for the plants roots to absorb a water running off what roots aren’t bucket?
