The Nigerian Union of Traders who reacted to the recent xenophobic uprising in Ghana, have told its compatriots to return to Nigeria if they have no legitimate business in Ghana. The group in the Ashanti Region of Ghana who issued the warning, stated that they took the decision because they do not want to mar the good relationship between Ghana and Nigeria.The Nigerian Union of Traders who told fellow citizens with no business in Ghana to go back to Nigeria, said in its statement;

“We the Executives of the community are telling them to leave Ghana.  If you don’t have anything doing in Ghana, go back to Nigeria. That is what we are telling them. If they don’t have anything doing in Ghana it is better they go to Nigeria”

This is coming after the Police in Kumasi, gave assurance that masterminds of the looting of some Nigerian shops in Suame Magazine in Kumasi will be arrested. The Police said a search party was currently working to arrest two persons mentioned in connection with the crime, Ghana radio station, Star FM, reports.

We always claimed victims whenever we are confronted with our lapses... Too bad

There are more Nigerian traders in Accra more than Kumasi.. Why is it only Kumasi Nigeria traders having problems with locals.. 3 times in less than 2 years in Kumasi alone.. Haba

Nothing to " imagine Ghana fa"

Nigerians need to stop "running out of Nigeria" to go pollute other Countries with their so called hustling spirit. Uncountable threads at the travel section with questions like :
Can I travel to Ghana with 300K and start mai shai biz by the roadside?
Will 500K take me to Sierra Leone to hustle?
What business can I start in Abidjan with 500K?

Someone locked your shop at night. Not a problem. Next time before going home, just hotwire your gate to a 15A socket outlet. Let's see what happens.

Citizens of Nigeria dont ask for much, just give us steady power supply, create an enabling environment for business to thrive and security. Most people wont stay out of this country.

I do not understand this gross hypocricy.
Are the shops and goods that were destroyed by Ghanians few days ago, not legitimate bussinesses?
They are destroying your people, innocents and guilty and this fools are saying rubbish.
when have the all giant of Africa become this weak and a subject of mockery even in Africa?
I know that there are bad Nigerians that are not representing us properly in Ghana but that is the work of the Ghanian police and inteligence to fish out the bad ones and not rob innocent Nigerians into this mess.

If ever a single shop of a NIGERIAN is attacked then Ghana is looking for war with Nigeria, all relationship between Ghana and Nigeria should be abolished.
What NONSENSE.

Go back to Nigeria and do what?

At least, there's stable power in Ghana. So, they rather stay there and enjoy it than come here and be shouting NEPA up and down.

Fix power in this country and see where this country will be in five years.

The country is a wack, nothing can never ever work, maybe we should try a regional government maybe things can change, but if it doesn't then we should go our separate ways,we think maybe hausas and fulanis are a fool yet they have infiltrate every section, they have hijacked power away from us,before I don't want Nigeria to disintegrate but now I want yorubas to have their own country, the issue of this country is getting out of hands, sde what we have reduced to as a country around the world, ordinary Togo are chasing Nigerians out of their country, it's finished for this country, the only things we know is to carry Bible and Quran up and down,I wanted to come to Nigeria by December , but I don't think i will never ever set my foot there again with wat am seeing.... Nonsense
