I was of the opinion that I could not take a long break from this thread for anything, that even after landing, I will still contribute. Well, I couldn't fight life. Relocating especially with a sizable family is a full time job. Settling in a new country especially in an area you don't know anybody is a full time job. Something has to give I'm still finding my feet. Will still contribute if and when chanced. Well done to everyone keeping the thread active. My mailbox is full. To everyone waiting for a reply from me. Apologies. Will revert back as soon as possible. FaskRolce:I miss you too. yemblaze:Actually, it is @raphrulz who updates the hall of fame and since it is his post, only he can modify it. He will soon update it. Work and relocation can be overwhelming. ladymarshall:I miss you too. yemblaze:Very soon. I'm still getting my bearing. |

Good day everyone, Please I will need your candid advice on what I'm about to write. I've been reading the thread for months now and I noticed no one ever mentioned about Paramilitary personnel as their work experience. I checked the noc 4423 (skill level C). Is that the correct noc to pick for a paramilitary personnel (FRSC precisely) and considering skill level/type C, what is the right place to be; EE or PNP etc. Mainwhile, I have OND and HND in computer science and 8 years working experience as a paramilitary personnel. I have equally working in different departments from being Admin and Human resources assistant, computer operator, and also as leading team for patrols simultaneously. Please my people, kindly help me review and show me the path to follow. Thank you all. |

Unfortunately, no! Because it's pre-degree not a degree, which is the requirement. favouritedami: |

For your Express Entry profile (pre ITA), just mention that work experience that you have a reference for. As long as it was paid, full time, and within the last ten years. Post ITA, you should mention the forex trading in your personal history. It won't affect your application as long as things are disclosed correctly. Kdamnhot: |

Please and please and please. For the newbies quoting posts, you can actually make your quote SHORTER than quoting the whole piece. It deprives us of content and get the pages full of quotes alone. When quoting, just reduce the words in the brackets abeg, it is so tiring reading only long quotes, Thank you. |

If it's BC and you can get to their office in Lagos, that's effective. They can be very slow at responding to e-mails. OkunrinMeta: |

Magnifico2000:That is not not true. We are accepted my notification or result for my masters. My convocation is in December but my ECA will be complete 1st week in july. At this point I would advice you to use this weekend to read. You need to read not only page one, also read up previous pages because every question you are asking as been answered previously already. |

Please house help, a mistake was made on DOB on my waec certificate (year of birth) but I didn't bother sinve it didn't affect anything back then. The issue now is I want to apply for wes and I am scared it could be an obstacle to me. I went to waec and I am told it will take at least 6 months to rectify it. 6 months is too long a wait. What do I do? |

Good People, At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I need more perspectives on this: I had an inguinal hernia (a.k.a. sports hernia) surgery 5 years ago. No complications. I started my involvement in sports a month after the surgery. Do you think I should answer "Yes" to the question asking about "serious diseases or physical or mental disorders" under statutory questions? Again, thanks in anticipation of your responses. |
