Eruditor:I don't know what's so funny mate. 6 losses have nothing to do with this. Calm down, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just saying there are players meant for moments like these and players who are not. Let me ask you a simple question, with a game on the line for the Warriors, you need a bucket, rank these players in order of who you will want taking the shot. Curry, KD and Klay. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:08pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:He died in 17/18 as well when he was giving Curry 4pt plays. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:09pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Curry Klay and KD. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:09pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Everyone knows I really don't like Kevin Durant. But is he clutch? Probably. What about Klay? The clutchest Warrior player in my book. Steph Curry just isn't that guy. Let's just leave it at that. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:10pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:So you want Curry taking the shot ahead of Klay and KD? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:12pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Is he not a better shooter than them? Answer on postcard. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:12pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Don't get too excited clown. Perhaps who ever posted that photo earlier meant a go-ahead ahead shot to be a shot to take the lead, which makes perfect sense seeing Curry has none in the last 24 seconds of a playoff game. SBD whatever he did against OKC, was it in the last 24 seconds? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:12pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:That's besides the point. Curry still got carried by Kevin Durant. Do you deny Durant wanted Curry to win FMVP and Curry wanted it as well? Do you deny Curry choked most of game 3 and that's why he didn't get it? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:15pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Exactly but why is he 0-9 in these situations as great a shooter as he is? Because he's a choker period! You're just being disingenuous. Even you know you would give that shot to Klay and KD before Curry. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:15pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
steady986:Is that not what I told you from the jump? Did I not also mention that since Curry's teams usually led comfortably, 0-9 in such moments compared to how many wins/games is a small sample space. But you were arguing like a reckless buffoon. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:16pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Curry had one 10pt game (he hit a big 3 in this game as well) and KD had 43. Yet KDs average was only 1 better than Curry's. So justify the term KD carried him. Since Curry outscored KD in all but that one game. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:17pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:That 0-9 stat is flawed. I have already proven it. Choker. Okay. But he won without KD in 14/15. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:19pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:I think he scored 11 in that game and KD scored 40+, without KD would you have won that game? Voters we're not going to forget that. The answer is simple, KD won FMVP. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:20pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Carried by Andre Iguodala ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:23pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Considering Curry has the 6th highest sample size in the NBA since 2000 no, it's not a small sample size. Mate, he's shooting 0% in these situations man. ZERO! NADA! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:25pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Haha. The sample size is small because he has hit shots to extend leads and Shots to tie games that were not counted. Stop outSteady896ing Steady896. |

Kyle Lowry has a ring and CP3 doesn't ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:26pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:Without KD we lose the game for sure. Without Curry we lose that game and the other 3. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:26pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Mate, 0%. How can you even defend this? Notice how the clutch players are higher up the list? Just imagine if this was LeBron! SMH |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:27pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Against that cavs team of LeBron Love and a box of cream crackers? ![]() I disagree. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:32pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Of all the players who have attempted this shot curry has the 6th highest sample size and has the lowest percentage among them, even Westbrook who is better since he's only attempted 7. And eruditor is telling me small sample size. Have the other players not hit the same type of other shots you're describing? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:41pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor says small sample size. Okay, lets examine the other players who've taken 9 shots. Mr Big Shot 3/9 The Big Fundamentals 2/9 James Harden, a notorious choker in his own right 1/9 But Steph Curry, mind you, the greatest (regular season) shooter of all time, is 0/9. Someone is trying to defend this? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:41pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:If they have bring the stats let us see who ranks where and what. That 0-9 stat is so dumb, you can even tell they counted his first miss against Pelicans in that video I uploaded. But not his make. Hehe he. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:43pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:LOL. Put back shots. Post up plays are counted. How will they measure up to 3pt shots? Where is Dame Lillard on that list? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:45pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:But game 1 went into OT and Curry had 29pts to add to KDs 26. Without Curry, Cavs probably win that game. Curry had 30+ game 2 or so. (I think 28 but my mind could fail me). We did not win by 10+ pts. So we probably lose that as well. We need his huge 3 to tie the game in 3. Then all of his 37 to seal the series. Take them out. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:02pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:What do you mean lead comfortably? How many comfortable leads did they have in this years playoffs? Even against Portland that they blew out. Your argument doesn't hold water my friend. Even LeBron's teams have had some comfortable wins too. At least your boy should have posted a number in that stat. 0 of 9 is just absurd. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:02pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Thats not how it works and you know it. I admit it'll obviously be easier without either player. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:04pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:Points are points, people play to their strengths. Its about delivering in crunch time. Dame hasnt attempted enough shots to feature in the top 10. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:09pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
KarnThornheart:He has and his % is better than Lebron which is why it is not there. He had against OKC. Against Clippers or so in the past. Against GSW this year but he missed. He has had a few. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:12pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
steady986:Why ask about this year? They played with injuries this year which made games closer. They won Portland game 1 by 22. Blew out Clippers in game 1 as well. Lebron's teams have had less blowouts than GSW. Just stop arguing please.. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:12pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYzW3GNvDbE Look at these clowns. Lebron is top 3 but its not close? ![]() Funny thing is these deluded pricks actually believe this sh-t! 50 points? LMAO, I dont think wilt in the era of carpenters averaged 50, and funny thing is wilt actually said MJ wouldnt be MJ in his era. Everyone thinks their era was the greatest. Mind you there was no zonal defense in jordans era! Just imagine the damage lebron would do if you couldnt use zonal defense against him. LOL! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:15pm On Jun 21, 2019 |
Eruditor:You dont know how to read. They didnt list by percentages but by number of attempts. |
