The Reality is that US can only fight a war in vietnam and afghanistan, and with that US soldiers were dieing like fowls till their president recalled their troops without defeating anybody.

Iraq was so embarassing for US that they had to arm local terrorist to fight with them, even when that didn't yeild result they hired Private military contractors and unmaned drones bombing civilians.

Rag tag Osama was living large for ten good years after 9/11 yet it took obama/seals propaganda to keep him quite.. without anyone seeing his corpse, their so called gazilion dollars stealth helicopter even crashed without attack.

Trump should have at least fired one shot into Iran and then declare no more fighting,but he couldn't try that.To all those saying US will wipe out Iran in 15min,keep on dreaming or do you think this is Thanos vs Avengers.Even small Nigeria with No missile ,he can't finish in 15min.
Even if the war begins now,Trump only believes he will get to Iran through help from Saudi Arabia,UAE n others but in reality the Saudi people won't allow the Saudi Royal to give such help to USA,in the end Saudi would actually support Iran.

The U.S. Military can cripple Iran in days. C'mon, the technological gap is too wide. The only nation that can stand America toe-to-to is Russia -- and that would even be if America attacked the Russian homeland (with Russia fighting defensively).

To those that think otherwise: if Iran squared up against Israel, it would be doing so at a substantial disadvantage. Pakistan, the strongest Moslem nation -- not Egypt, Turkey nor Saudi Arabia, should be a more suitable adversary for Israel. And even at that, Israel is miles ahead of Pakistan in technology. They are both nuclear-armed, however, Israel has second strike capability i.e. if you nuked the whole of Israel today and wiped it off, it has ballistic missile submarines underwater primed to fire nuclear-tipped Jericho missiles on targets 5,000 miles away -- it would retaliate.

I recall that one of the speakers on CNN who's been in such a briefing severally said the 1st thing they tell the president is the no. of potential casualties. . . . Trump claims he had to call and ask and it took several minutes before they gave him the figure!

The US will end up being drawn into a prolonged and sustaned irregular warfare. Afghanistan and Vietnam would be child's play...
