Of course America can cripple the Iranian military in a conventional war. But if you think the Iranians won't resort to Asymmetric warfare, then you're in for a shocker. Besides, Iran is a far larger with a far harsher terrain compared to the Iraqi flatlands. Setting up a logistics line will equally be very difficult. Keep in mind the Iranians will be fighting in their home turf, and they will fight dirty. I don't really see America coming out on top if a war breaks out.
