This self defence right has been abused but I still believe her....that was how one was stabbed last year, he has beaten this lady to stupor, people were begging him to stop but he wasn't satisfied, was still chasing her about, she ran to the kitchen and got a knife, held it out and asked him to come and touch her again, the foolish idiot went on to continue the beating even after seeing her with knife, that was how she stabbed him...

I will never believe this STORY.
LADIES perfect their LIES by shedding tears.

Unless she punched herself in the face and caused all the bruises on her body, I believe her.
Everyone has a right to life and a right to defend that life if under threat. It's a jungle out there now.
It would be interesting to know how her injuries would be explained by the Drs. She's fortunately a lawyer, and would know the due process to follow in such circumstances.
I pray he survives this incident, so he can give his own side of the story and they can peacefully divorce with everyone's body parts intact.

A video has emerged, of Hanan, the Bayero University Law student, who has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband, Saheed Hussain in Kano State.

According to the suspect - who has bruises and swellings all over her body - she was being battered by her husband, last night, despite the fact that she is pregnant.

She added that Saheed stabbed himself while they were both struggling with a knife. Meanwhile, the victim is currently recuperating at the the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, while Hanan remains in police custody.

Guy, do you know that man and woman performs feats when their life is genuinely threatened.

This woman can make up this story to avoid jail because her actions, whether in self defence or due to anger or revenge, can be interpreted as an attempted murder or manslaughter. She is now sane and desperately trying to avoid jail.

Despite the possibility of self defense, as claimed by the lady, I know that the bruises and swollen body parts can be made up to build her case.

Hell has no fury as much as a scorned woman.
