What annoyed me here is turning Somto hospital into blocks of shops. What sort of nonsense is that? Let's just study this present governor and his activities for the next 1 year before we start judging him.
I've not started judging him yet. But his early steps are uncalled for. He should allow those universities and schools to be and should not try to site any market in Douglas road. Let him forget about Rochas and concentrate on governance.

Destroying Rochas projects and reverting policies and programmes already on ground is irresponsible.

Abogwara.

What tribal war?
There is only only one tribe - Igbo - in Imo state.

Orlu region is behind Gov Ihedioha

Okorocha built classrooms and added them to Houses in Okporo housing estate Orlu and bragged in his first term that he built School of nursing and health technology at Okporo in Orlu local government area. He even mounted "degree awarding" on his adverts about the institution.

Suddenly, at the last days of Okorocha's administration, he built new houses in Ogboko his hometown, and without announcement transferred the School of Nursing and health to Ogboko.

Why the waste of govt funds in building and closing and abandoning and rebuilding?

Now the new govt rightly gave order that the six years Old school of Nursing and health be taken back to its original cite at Okporo-Orlu.
Okorocha people start to confuse the public that Mbaise people came to Orlu to fight - LIES.

This man, stop this nonsense and get sense for once. The Okporo premises is still functioning as school health while the Ogboko facility is for school of nursing and midwifery. There's school of nursing in Amaigbo constructed by Udenwa. Stop coming here to misform people claiming a place you know nothing about.

Ihedioha excesses are too much, let's call a spade a spade. Must he fight his predecessor to show people that he has arrived? Why must he always destroy some policies and programmes he met on ground? He has not awarded or initiated any programme apart from the green initiative he recently commissioned which has no direct implication on the livelihood of Imolites. Gov. Ihedioha is being too clannish and restive. Other Imo governors did not start like this.

The emboldened shows that your analysis is not objective.
That's because it's too early to conclude.
We need people in Imo at the moment to objectively analyze the drama currently playing in our state.
If Ihedioha ever returns Eke Onuma market to Douglas Road, I will write him off at once.
Although Rochas was criticized for relocating the market, I consider that a bold step.
Owerri people should keep quiet! Ancestors have no place in 21st Century.
Douglas Road needs to have free flow of traffic

There is nothing okorocha, Ihedioha can do about Douglas. Douglas is gone and gone.

Let him first and gentlemanly relocate or organize those hausaa doing business there and then come back to think of starting.

Let him also clear all the waste littered along the road to create space for future work

The school at Okporo is College of Health Technology which Okorocha built earlier and was equally posted here on Nairaland. So in essence Okorocha built both schools and they belong to 2 different aspects of Nursing education. The same people telling you different lies that Okorocha did nothing in Orlu or Imo State are now trying to merge two different schools built by same Okorocha that did nothing instead of building more. They will vandalize and then go with cameramen to either claim it was uncompleted or dilapidated and unfit to be a school. Very funny set of politicians.

Stop giving up before trial. Many thought it was impossible to remove Ekeukwu market but Okorocha did it and cleared Douglas to an extent even with Ihedioha and most politicians sponsoring resistance and dumping of refuse to frustrate his efforts. I don't think Okorocha will oppose Ihedioha forcefully evacuating the fools still trading on the street because that was his aim for relocating the market. Many thought it was impossible to stop Keke but Okorocha did it and it has worked perfectly well. Many thought it was impossible to build 8 lane roads by demolishing infringing structures in the heart of Owerri but Okorocha did it and it has worked. So all Ihedioha needs is simply set a target and achieve it without fear or favour as long as he is convinced it is right and will bring development and not dwell on how to destroy Okorocha's legacy and in the process taking the State backwards by 8 years.

One full month is gone and nothing is really happening than trying to destroy one Okorocha's project or the other. Apart from evacuation of waste accumulated because of unorganized waste management system since Ihedioha took over the only other thing happening in Imo now is either Ferma road maintenance work or NDDC with their slow construction.

In the last two years, the School of Health Technology in Okporo, Orlu, stopped functioning.

No school activity in it 24/7; 7/7; 12/12; if you try to enter the premises, a gate man would stop you 24/7, 7/7, 12/12. No body could tell what was going on inside. It was like a secret cult premises.

Until the present government emerged and burst open the secret.

You see why Abia state is now a dead state. You are more interested in a governor that has just spent few days in office but you are not worried about fat incompetent failed governor in Abia state who has not achieved anything but you clowns voted him for second term. Abia state is the worst state in Nigeria but it does not bother you.

If I need those to assess ihedioha, definitely can't be you. There has never been a time you believed in him, so who made you the judge here? Same you'll keep being blind not to see any step he has taken for good governance. If you could be demanding his achievements within 25 days and you remain adamant your President not to have formed aids whom he would be working with, your hypocrites will kill you. Remind me your state governor? Show me his achievements so far, and achievements of other governors that made you start questioning that of ihedioha in just 25 days. He has come to work, and as a former lawmaker, he follows due process, guess you have been dead and blind not to see or hear about his appointments, committees he has been setting to assess the critical states of shady projects your demi god did to know where to start. Contract bids will be done, contractors that wins will be awarded contracts, that's how a rightful leader does, not awarding contracts to cronies, so he can never follow Rochas way. Also let me remind you he has been able to pay 100% salary, abt paying pensions your god couldn't pay, have started getting our waste management to work again, abt bringing back Imo adapalm to its former glory, has set up tasks force to stop street trading and illegal packs and so many. But you'll remain blind forever, because you want him to do magic within 25days. Go use same energy on buhari to name his ministers, aids, SAs, then your state government. Next time, don't quote my post, there are people's assessments about ihedioha here I will take seriously, definitely not one coming from you or Abogwara, you're still nursing your lose, you never imagined ihedioha could win and never believed in him, so I don't expect fair assessment abt him from you too

lol, what lost am I nursing, Oga I have nothing to lose. My annoyance is that your man took power through propaganda and he's still working with the propaganda. It seems to be that you don't know Imo state too well before now? Immediately Rochas was sworn-in he cleared backlog of salary and pension arrears, announced the free education program, revitalized Adapalm, Oguta lake and Concord hotel, started the new Imsu, Ogboko campus which was later changed to Eastern palm University. So forming of numerous committees is now part of good governance, are we in national assembly (house)?

Let him start awarding contracts and stop these initial "gridai". I don't expect him to start commissioning project within 25days but at least let him start awarding or remain silent, not going to media to show toilet, potholes and cracks on wall and roads. Government is continuity, he was elected to continue from where his predecessors stopped or right the wrongs of his predecessors not destroying what they built or blackmailing them on the media just to gain cheap praise.

I was showed one video where he took media to a crack portion of a road and was disgracing himself with his poor English grammar and accent shouting "journalists hope you people are seeing it, people are saying everytime he's complaining about Rochas, hope they can see it?". After watching the video, my friends then asked, what prevents him from fixing the road without going to the media? He was elected to do the job, must he show the world before doing it?

You and I know that the man is a comedian. Please, I still want to know the steps he has taken so far not those aforementioned propaganda so that I will forever remain silent.

Still living in denial to console yourself, Mbaise man. I'm Nwa-afor Imo state and can still tell you over and over again that Rochas still remain the best governor Imo state has ever produced. I am not like you and can't behave the way you behave. I hate lies and detest them with all my soul. Let him reopen all the ten higher institutions Rochas built which have already received accreditation from NUC and upgrade them more, return Somto blocks to the initial planned hospital, open the flyovers and tunnels built by Rochas, prevents the return of traders to Douglas road, repair any failed road and stop going to media for every little issue. I hold nothing against him but the way he's handling issue is the problem.

I don't think is wise to jumps into projects without identifying the needs of the people first.
For me one month is not enough for him to go round and find out those essential needs

B2mario, easy je je. Okorocha has been chased out by the people of Imo state. Bear the loss.
lol cheap propagandist, I thought you said Rochas did not do anything in Orlu zone, how comes this furore over a university of agriculture in Ohaji/Egbema, college of health, Okporo, school of nursing and midwifery, Ogboko, Bishop Shanaghan polytechnic, Umuokpara/Orlu and the controversial Eastern palm University?

PDPs you have taken power by force, but be reminded that foundation built on lies can not stand.
