If this is how we'll be playing 1-0 and win the nation's Cup, I think it's a good thing.
At the end our goal keeper would have kept clean shiit and we would have scored only 7 goals.
Quite a funny record grin
very funny record it will be. my brother tournament na to win games o, no be league season. We had a worst start to the 2013 nations cup tournament, but we were the eventual winners.

All the time una go dey form say una Sabi football tactics. Rohr started Moses because he had an awaziem who is not a rb. Deployed in the position and if not for Moses work rate and if they would have targeted the rb position as our weakest link.

Onyekuru and chukwueze are better wingers put simon has something the both lacks which is good work rate and unselfishness. Football na tactics no be to come for faceless forum dey spit trash
the problem with you...is that you think the sun shines only through your window....

had it been we scored earlier we would have weakened the opposition more and as such get more goals

As Mourinho during his first spell at Chelsea used to say to his players before a final "Do you want to enjoy yourself on the pitch and lose? Or do you want to suffer on the pitch and win? "

If ebuehi returns he should make the right back his own while Aina takes the lb position. And really commend mazarri for the good work he has done on aina's development. The Bobo Don ripe finally for men's football. I also commend leganes for turning omeruo to a beast!

So we have to put age into consideration when determining how organized a team is. OK
we don't possess world class players.

Bros,na wetin u want self??

Mikel started at AM against Burundi and performed poorly and there was a general outcry for him to stop playing the role. Rohr obliged and dropped him...
And u are now saying Mikel would have done better than Iwobi in the role...

The CM role is the only role Mikel can actually do very well in...unfortunately, we need Etebo's energy there
and what has etebo done in the middle?

Who else noticed the moment Iwobi was subbed off, the midfield fell apart for the last 15 minutes of the game.

Afcon Titbits-Nigeria in view

-The last time Nigeria lost a game at the AFCON was in 2010. 1-0 to Ghana in the semis of that edition.

- We are currently on a Six game winning streak since our 2-0 win over Ethiopia in South Africa at Afcon 2013.

Another great performance from omeruo. I started watching just before his goal, hence can’t say much

u always complain too much bro .

Haba angry
I am not complaining ooo...
was not happy with the way they were playing...
I believe the midfield was not being creative enough and Moses Simon was not really a threat upfront

I do hope our return to AFCON will mean winning the cup again.

that was a weak shot
the heading was even more annoying
our defenders can barely score with their heads

Mikel is old and go gas out easily which will leave ndidi and our back four vunerable. Etebo lacks football finesse but his agility, mobility and physicality is better suited for African football.

The best role for Mikel in this completion is as a sub to slow down play and stabilize the midfield when the is trying to slow down the pace of the game if we are leading

Dont worry about your so called big teams.. When we JAMB them, we go WAEC them...
Until then, enjoy the win.. Grab a bottle will you.! Cheers

i was expecting another quick change after the coach subbed off iwobi. I was thinking man will bring in Mikel and sub off Simon so that Chukwueze can play in his normal position....he ended up featuring onuachu.

Welcome back bro. You were dearly missed. Tbaba1234 please help me answer this question cos I seem to be confused? Please why is Ezenwa number 1 goalie? Or goalkeeper numbering isn't effective for who is first choice? He never manned the posts at the World Cup and now still he is number 1. Please how?
