Okay. I hope you are in pool already. Maybe the scores will come down before he gets his results. I don't think you should do spouse not accompanying. The process of adding your spouse post landing will be tedious and will take more time.

So chill in pool, ginger your husby to quickly write IELTS, start gathering your documents and let's be hopeful the score reduces to below 451.

All the best.

Yes I am in the pool. Def, I am selecting spouse accompanying....he’s gingered already.

Yes

Thank you very much for your reply. I now know the reason for the ineligibilty. Its my POF. I guess the range was updated by CIC and i didnt go back to ensure mine was still within the acceptable range. This is a leson everyone should learn from.

Thanks

Good morning all,

Please which evaluation body is more advisable for LLb, BL ( law degree). Thank you.

Ifeoma77:

You are correct. It's 451 because your husband neither evaluated his credentials not wrote IELTS.
A few months ago, he wouldn't have any need to because 451 will grab you ITA. These days? Hmmm

So what to do?
Like Adunne said, let him write IELTS. Even if he scores 5555, it will boost your scores into the 460s and guarantee you ITA.
So don't wait till August, let him write asap, he just needs minimal scores, doesn't really need to smash it.

Thank you,

I booked medicals with Qlife on the 18th of June. I just created my profile without getting ita. They called me ystday to confirm my attendance yesterday. I just got ITA yesterday.

Qlife takes appointment pre-ita.

Ok. I will try

Age nko?
Fidesa:

I am surprised you have 451
with my ielts of band 8, two certificates and 3 years experience, the score was 462; but you have a masters degree which is higher than " two or more certificates" so you cant be having 451, you should be around 465.

please re-check

yeah i did, but like ifeoma said, let your spouse write ielts even though he scores low, it will add up points for you guys but i'll suggest he aims for the highest scores, the more the better especially in these days of outrageous CRS draws.

All the best.

Good morning everyone. This thread has really been enlightening. I came in here with zero knowledge but now I know some things at least. Been asking random questions and checking the CRS with a proposed score in my head grin but I want to come out straight because I need advice, suggestions and encouragements.

I am a lady
I clocked 30 Jan 2019 and my husband will clock 30 by Nov 3rd 2019; so he is still 29. I have been the only one looking for materials. He wants to relocate but has paid zero attention to writing ielts. it doesn't look like he wants to write it. I swear I have talked about it tire but he has turned deaf ears to this.

We both have BSc and as our highest qualification. I have six years work experience but he has been an entrepreneur that has not hammered so we can't use his account because he is constantly broke. I can afford the account balance/statement for the both of us

Now from the tests I have been trying ehn...the thing hard o and I don't really have time like that because of work. I have not even gotten up to 7 in the few tests I took.

We have no family in Canada or job or anything that will give us Canada score grin

I would have loved him to be the PA but his account statement nko, no interest in Ielts exam, no work experience, his business is registered but no tax has been paid yet because its high.

We want to relocate o but he is the kind that has interest in something but does nothing to achieve it and will be excited if we get the PR.

Please is there any training center in Lagos where I can go for one on one training? I need to get like 9 seriously. I have some e-materials but I think I can learn better one on one or if I offline tests before the exam.

I studies Health Education and he studied Chemical Engineering.

What suggestions do you guys have for me, i really wish to start a life there.

Can i apply alone first and add him later? because the ranking so far no even reach 390 not to talk of 400. He won't let me go alone if I get PR. What else can I do to increase our CRS within a short time?

Then for the WES, people who used NECO, how did you go about it? I have not collected my original result. Or is there another body I can use instead of WES?

My ielts exam is on July 20th.

I have a lot in my mind to ask but this is long already.

Thanks as you guide and encourage a sister. God bless

They sent it on the 29th of May, Unilag received it on the 17th of June. That is about 18days. I think unilag was waiting for the hard copy via regular mail hence the delay.

Pls how long before Unilag saw the initial request for verification from WES bc WES sent me a mail since May 22nd that they have requested for it while Unilag said they are yet to receive it embarassed

Waec/neco is compulsory if you are using WES for ECA.Budget about 30k for waec
I think it's better you complete your masters and evaluate it for more CRS points..
If you have a foreign masters, you don't need WAEC, you just need them to access your foreign masters to get the points.

Good morning good people of Canada,

Could you please help to confirm that the below duties match with NOC 1111 and if 8 duties are just enough? Thank you

• Coordinating with both internal and external auditors and providing required information and documentations/schedules to ensure a smooth internal and statutory audit exercise.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Partake in General ledger and Cost center review during Period End Closing Activities to ensure that the financial statements truly represent company.

NOC 1111 is good. People have got PPRs with 4-5 duties so you're fine.

Good morning all,

Please which evaluation body is more advisable for LLb, BL ( law degree). Thank you.

IQAS will evaluate just your LLB as a professional degree, which will earn you the same points as a master's degree.

Modified: Ajibimi, IQAS takes longer to get the evaluation done but this is the only body I know of that will give you the professional degree evaluation equivalent for your LLB

Your LLB will get you guys same points as a master's degree. Use this link below to simulate your points with you being the primary applicant. Use this as IELTS scores Listening 8, Speaking (7), Writing (7), and reading(7). You'll also need to read up on page 1 of this thread, very important information there for you.

Maybe try PNP, except you want to go for a master's degree. Because even if your spouse takes IELTS and evaluates his Bsc, your score will still be around 426. Even if he is the PA, maybe around 431. Draw scores these days are in the 460s. See the link below for the PNP programs, that could give you extra 600points and earn you an ITA

Good morning house, please can you help check the most appropriate NOC(1311 or 1114) for this job description

* Document and promptly resolve branch and other Bank’s complaints
* Callover of inward transactions
* Ensuring that the Bank is not locked-out of Clearing house at any session

I would go with 1311. Your JD seems to have a large portion of posting, reconciling, capturing, balancing accounts/entries and preparing cheques for processing, which I see are found in 1311.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ans123: 12:19pm On Jun 27, 2019
You have come to the right place.

First you need to determine if your current job is eligible for Federal Skill Worker program.

Second, BSc alone cannot grant you sufficient points going by recent trends. Even if your spouse contributes the max 30point available to dependent spouse.

You may have to enlist in short courses like BCS, NACETEM, Unilag HRDC, CIMA, NOUN PGD etc to claim 2 or more certificate/diploma to boost your score.

You also need to postpone writing IELTS for now until you get any of these additional certificates.

Yes you can apply alone and add him later but it is generally advised not to do so because of the complexities associated with such. He would also need to do medicals, PCC and you also need to show POF to cover him.

There are number of evaluating bodies that do not require you to send WAEC/NECO. ICES, ICAS will suffice since you still have time

Lastly, it's not appropriate to say your husband is perpetually broke on a public forum.

P. S: READ, READ, READ THIS FORUM. LET IT BE YOUR BIBLE.

While you await response from those who have received gcms notes. Assume that you are submitting today and use today's rate to calculate your funds. Use www.xe.com their figures is in tandem with bank of Canada rate. If the result is favourable to you, then you are safe. Historically, the official rate has not exceeded 275 in the last 60 days.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Please I need advice, me and my wife have been nursing the ambition of relocating to Canada but somehow we couldn't start the process last year but we want to start the process now.

The issue is, I want to use an agent for the whole process but my friend is advising that I do it on my own that it's possible and easy to do. Truly from what I have read here and from all the info I have gathered so far, I think I can do it in my own.

Please advice me people, is it better to use agent or to to do it on my own?
