Hi everyone!

Please when CIC says 'eligibility and security checks have not been initiated', what does it mean?

This wait is tiring.

Ottawa please!

Please still on this NYSC thing. I served in 2010, so i have till the end of this year to apply for this Canada thing. Must the reference be on letter headed paper? Also the only person I know who used to work at my PPA said he is no longer with them. What alternative do i have? How did you guys cope with the payslip or proof of payment salary thing? Will the low minimum wage they paid us then be a red flag? Also i was paid separately by the PPA and the Federal government. I no longer have access to the bank account I received both payments with.

My IELTS is 8.0 band score but it expires this December.
I have an MSc BSc and PhD should come in about 3 months time.
WES has evaluated other certificates but my Bsc transcript has been the culprit, it's taken my university over a year to process it but they will get it done in at least the next 2 month's.

Help a sister oh. I beg you. What do I do?

why do you have to evaluate your B.SC when you have M.sc and Phd? if this is still hindering anything, i feel u can have it removed.

Indicate this in a letter of explanation.

Since your MSc is evaluated already, don't worry about the Bsc transcript. What's your current CRS score? You should evaluate your PhD if your current score isn't high enough.

Sister you should have sent only your highest qualification for evaluation, to make things easier for you.

and most people use ICES because they don't verify waec..

Thanks a lot for your detailed post.

If I apply now my score is 439
If I apply in 2 months after WES verification, my score would be 434
If I do in 3 months with PhD my score would be 449.

What do you think are my chances of getting called up before December when my IELTS expires?

I have regretted including my BSc for a long time.

I used WES, do you know if I could add my PhD to it at a later date to increase my score?

Please can you shed more light on Alberta express entry. Can current job of over 8 months of administrative officer position qualify for their PNP. With one year teaching experience and one year banking experience.

I will appreciate a quick response.

Please no need for sorry. Thank you for sharing your experience! I really hope people learn from this. Money is not easy to come by to start dashing agent, when you can add it to POF instead.

Let me drop my 2 cent here about agents in this journey.....well there might be good ones though and there are some who will claim to help you at a very small price but will rip off you slowly and gently....the later is the category of the one I used

Sorry for my long post....

[Weldone house, great job you guys are doing. We have received ITA! working on our application. My husband did his MSC online with Heriot-Watt University, Scotland. After filling out the application form online, we are being requested to submit police clearance from Scotland. Please, has anyone had a similar issue? Advice please?

Yes ma'am. grin

No, he/she does not need to evaluate WAEC since it's a foreign certificate from the UK.

Its the same thing as WAEC/NECO. Your final results from secondary school
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by amaya21: 6:59pm On Jun 28, 2019
Just fill your Express Entry application with all the work experience details. Alberta picks from the pool for their PNP. Based on NOCs in demand. So if your NOC happens to be what they need, they might send you a notification of interest. They selected administrative officer NOCs earlier this year to apply for their program.

Hi guys , I'm about to prep for my wes evaluation, which evaluation is used for express entry, and how much is it?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by tolfa(m): 7:11pm On Jun 28, 2019
Excerpt from cic website.
Applicants are instructed to indicate that their education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background.
Just indicate by adding 'by correspondence'
We had similar case in this platform sometime ago. So you will be fine.
