Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray
have announced the signing of Nigeria U20
international Valentine Ozornwafor from NPFL
giants Enyimba of Aba.
The central defender has put pen to paper on
a four-year contract with Galatasaray.
Ozornwafor was a member of the Flying
Eagles squad at the 2019 FIFA U20 World
Cup and started their first two games in
Poland before suffering an injury which saw
him miss their last two matches.
The 20-year-old made his debut for Nigeria's
Olympic team in a 4-0 rout of Libya in March
and he has trained with the Super Eagles.
He will earn 575,000 euros (approximately
N232.8 million) over the duration of his four-
year contract with Galatasaray.
For the first season, the center back will
pocket €100,000, and €125,000, €150,000
and €200,000 in his second, third and fourth
season respectively.
Galatasaray will pay 300,000 euros transfer
fee to Enyimba for Ozornwafor . |
