It is not that the south is not united. They have been nonchalant in their attitude towards the plight of the northerners especially the middlebelt who have been plundered by these Fulani herdsmen for years. Now that they've arrived at our backyard we are now crying foul.

when especially it became obvious that the "populace" the fulani herdsmen were devouring just happens to be northern xtians and southerners but hey it's technically their land.

There's absolutely no excuse whatsoever for these same fulanis to come to my region to slaughter my kinsmen with impunity.

Can you imagine a situation where a group of southerners will be killing northerners in major nothern cities with such great abandon? Am sure it wouldn't get anywhere to what we 're witnessing now before the north plunge us all into another civil war.

I know of many Hausa's and northerners who are either traditionalists or Christians and if the land 'technically' belongs to the Fulani's where do you want the ethnic minority to go?

Fulanis were never indigenous to northern nigeria so fulanis cannot claim technically, any part of northern nigeria.

Riot ke? From whom? Are we talking about the same northerners who took delight in slaughtering southerners at the drop of a koran, eclipse of the moon or any other filmsy excuse that takes their fancy.

The last time some ibos killed a few northerners, they plunged us all into a 30months civil war even after their revenge coup and riots which had already claimed my ibo lives.

Forget riots........there will anarchy in the country especially in the south if the federal govt of the north insist on these Ruga Bs where the populace have unambigously rejected it.

For instance, if a settlement can be made somewhere in the middlebelt, at least as far as Ilorin, Kwara State and the meat is from there supplied to the south, that will prevent the Fulani's from wandering in our farmlands, no?

Hell no! No inch of our ancestral homeland will be donated to fulani herdsman just to keep nigeria one. The Northern region is supposedly large enough to accommodate as many Ruga as they deem fit. No sane southerner will entertane such a prepostrous proposition.

Farm vandalization by the Hausa Fulani is a deliberate economic strategy. If the South are able to sustain their farm produce where will the North sell her produce. It’s a planned out strategy and highly criminal in nature. Every Hausa farmer is targeting Southern Market to sell their farm produce.

We should note that it is not only the Fulani's that are herdsmen, there are other ethnic groups that are herdsmen and many of them even do it on behalf of some southerners.
