Something like that tells you everything you need to know about Ibo awareness in Nigerian politics....and to imagine it came from an ex governor. Wow!

Personally, I don't have issue with RUGA but going by fulani's antecedents. I am skeptical and No 1 antagonist to RUGA in the SE, SS and MB.

The problem in the Southern Kaduna today started with one RUGA and today, the land has been developed into a fulani settlement and currently, they are pushing for an emirate.

Go to Plateau, just one Ruga settlement led to the current madness and bloodshed.

In Abia, we have an Ama Hausa (Hausa Settlement) around Ala Okpanta.

The settlement is located at the outskirt of the Abia, but trust my Igbo brother, they have moved to that location in drove, set up plethora of businesses, open a garage for trailer, set up Igbo vigilante in that area and today, the settlement is no longer under the threat of Hausas.

I drove into that settlement when I was driving to Enugu from Aba, and I was proud of my people.

But a settlement with cows, potential terrorists and land grabbers? NEVER

Hausas are peaceful but not FULANIs.

You should learn to separate your admiration for Buhari and your love for country. These are 2 different things. I’ll tell you a story.

I was a strong Buhari fan and supported him in 2011 but he lost the election. I believed he should be given a chance, I thought he had good records, I thought he was a good leader as military governor and head of state, I didn’t believe the accusations against him, I thought a person of his capacity couldn’t be that bad as was being alleged, I gave him full benefit of doubt, and I campaigned for him in 2015, was very excited he won the election... until months into his first presidency when I realized how incompetent he was.

Not only was he incompetent, he also was a nepotistic and religiously biased leader, I realized he was a fraud. Someone like him should NEVER be president of a diverse and multi-tribal country like Nigeria.

But let’s also shift from his political views and touch a bit on his moral views. For someone who claims to have high moral standards and claimed to be fighting corruption, supporting Ganduje should make any patriotic Nigerian to see Buhari for what he was, a pretender and a fraud. I mean, he didn’t need Ganduje’s support to win Kano state. He ousted former governor Kwankwasor and also won the state without Shekarau’s support. The state would’ve voted the APC and Buhari if they had replaced Ganduje, it happened in Lagos, Ambode’s loss didn’t make Lagos lose the governorship election. So what was Buhari’s excuse?

I have never been his fan since 2016 and never will, but I write this because of your claim to being a patriot. If you’re a true patriot, I doubt you’ll be supporting Buhari politically even when it’s obvious he’s very incompetent and also a divisive leader. Remove RUGA from the equation, your support for Buhari to remain president nothing to be proud of if you claim to be a patriot
