I have this jotter where I pen down my list of Applications.. any time rejection comes, I usually pick the jotter to cross out the part where I put down the school and course details. Crossing twice in a day really affected my morale . Those who chat me very well on this forum knew how strong my fears were.

And yes, it's good to apply to as many places as possible, especially if they are Restricted courses. My 1.7 German grade CGPA couldn't get me into many programs I applied for.

Thanks bro. Even though I'm rejecting most of them cos I already have my most preferred application, It's good to testify to God's goodness. That's why I still share testimony when AL comes.

I don't usually mention it when rejection letters come

I once had a day like that . I went out in the morning to put some documents in place without breakfast. I came back in the afternoon to eat my breakfast as lunch, as I grabbed my phone, rejection letter entered my mail. I lost appetite immediately. Dropped the phone and in one hour, tried to gather some strength to eat my food. I started eating and [b]under 10 mins, another rejection letter dropped in. I cried mehn[\b]..

So behind the many ALs (5 is not many to me tho), I've packed a plethora of Rejections.

What do you think was factored in the rejection?

Most of my rejections came on the basis of
1. They have too many applicants; far beyond their expectations, so they unfortunately cannot offer me a place.
2. My undergraduate curriculum not sufficient to enter the MSc


No school has specifically mentioned that my CGPA was too low. None.

My people i had my interview today. Forgive my summarized transcript oh I can't really remember everything exactly.

I got to the embassy around 5.30am. Later others arrived. I was the only one there apart frm the security guys.
They checked appointment letters and stamped on it around 6.30. Paulinus arrived around 7am and started calling us in.
I was first on the queue. And as he called, I arranged my documents. Original then photocopy, photocopy. After that was the security check before proceeding to the interview area
Waited for some tym before I was call into counter 3.
VO went tru my documents, gave me forms to sign and asked me basic questions lyk
Wat is the name of your skul?
Master or bachelors?
What is the name of ur course?
What is the topic of your undergraduates thesis?
Title of ur bachelor's degree program?
Why Germany?
Why not Nigeria, us, Canada or any English speaking countries?
Why this course?
What do you intend to do after your program?
Who is sponsoring you?
What do you know about Germany?
What do you know about the German economy?
What do you know about the German political system?

Basically it was more of a conversation than an interview...tnk God

Open dorm account with access or first bank.
That's still the safest option have read here so far.

Congrats man. If you decide on chemnitz. Welcome to ASE.
For job prospects, it depends on your skills and language level. Normally there is a student job here for none German speakers but max you can get in a month is €450 working for 20hrs. Some others come by luck. You also have the opportunity to earn a student assistant position if you are good. Other job options are in close by cities like Dresden and Leipzig which you can do on weekends or free time. The course is flexible so you can combine studies and hustle but if you want to gradg fast you face school.

It was sent via email, and also uploaded on the portal.
When they receive your documents, your status changes to received. Next is the forwarding of your application to the admission committee. You'll see a corresponding change to that effect via mail and on your portal too.
When the committee is done, the decision notice is sent via mail and portal.
