Please I don't know what to do. I submitted my visa application on the 24th of June and did my biometrics the second day which was 25th June. Earlier was showing an information about system update that we should ignore 'action required notification' if we had already done the biometrics or the medicals. The message on the immi is no longer there and it's still telling me to provide biometrics. Please what should I do?

Hello please am about to submit my visa application and would like to know the implication of adding my siblings as dependents.

I am a PhD student but don't have the intention of going with any of them now but in a year or two. Thanks

Are they under 18
Are your parents still alive?

Do you have strong proof they have been dependent on you all along?

In my opinion, they don't really pass as your dependent if any of your parent is still alive.

Turkish Airline is cool aside for the long stopover in Turkey. Note that you won’t be allowed to enter Istanbul during the stopover with Naija passport and Oz visa alone. You must have a Schengen/US/UK visa to get an eVisa to enter Istanbul. Else you sleep at the Airport during your stopover till your next transit.
But in general, the airline is ok.
When are you flying?

Please help!!

Am new here, please I need enlightenment
I got a provisional admission to study Bachelor of Nursing in ACU, I was asked to fill and submit the GTE form within two weeks.
However, am so scared and don't know what to do as someone told us we might not be able to get Visa approval .
My first degree was in Biology Education n 2009 and had a diploma in pharmacy technician in 2016 and I have since then been working as a pharmacy technician.
I was told I have a high chance of Visa rejection that because my first degree is not related to my course of study.
I need advice pls

If I were you, I would start again. They probably do not acknowledge the polytechnic you graduated from or not really satisfied with your result. I also see it as an advantage on your part. Make sure you pass with distinction on those courses you have done in the past to boost your cgpa.

South Australia is considered a regional area so you score points for studying there, the only set back is you have a lot of competition for jobs as it's limited.

Provided you didn't submit a bogus documents for the previous work visa that was denied you should be fine with study visa application.

Some one said it will be hard for me to get a grant if i start all over again from 100 level because i already got hnd

What was their reason for saying so?
Is HND equal to or higher than Bsc?

They are rarely given.

I suggest that everyone search for the Minister of Home Affairs charter for international student visa.

This will help you understand the instructions more.

Here is the link... if you scroll down a bit you will see ministerial direction, save this pdf, and you can have heads up on the instruction the minister has given Embassies/visa processing, and you can present your documentation and write a more compelling GTE statement if you are yet to write one.

That's not correct. My wife has HND, she is in Deakin University, started from 100 level.
Kindly disregard such as it's not true.
Thanks.

bligs:

The core engineering profession doesn't require years of experience just that you won't be able to claim points for it, Google EA the assessing body for engineers, download their booklet and you will understand better. Personally I see it as a waste of time and money for someone that study civil engineering or any building/construction related course aside architect and agricultural related course to come here through study because some state and a lot of regional areas are sponsoring these professions.
@blogs please what is your advice i have bsc(edu) in sociology but 3rd class. Pls can 8 go info PR. Thanks as i wait for ur resoonsey

Please a quick advice needed.

All the funds I have saved up of about 6m approx. 24,000 AUD. After I pay my initial fee of day 19,000 Aud. The balance in my account would be about 1m. I am worried thisnmight be deemed too little and this might affect my chances of getting study Visa despite the fact I am using a sponsor.

Pls advice a brother.

Why do you want to submit your statement of account when you have a sponsor? Don’t complicate your application with unnecessary documents.

Hello guys,

I'm looking at studying for my PhD in Australia early next year. Already, I have 3 professors in 3 different universities in Australia who have reviewed my research proposal and are interested in supervising my research. They've also stated that they will help me get scholarship (tuition and stipend).

Now I'm targeting the RTP scholarship which comes with OSHC for family (I have a wife and one son).

My question now is, if by God's grace I'm successful in securing the RTP stipend scholarship and OSHC for family, do I need to provide any other financial document to support my visa application?

Is there anyone on this forum who has been successful in securing an RTP scholarship and OSHC for family (or couple)? How was the visa application process like?

Thanks a lot.

Daddybomboy

Yess, depending on the school, you'll need ielts.. And yess you'll mess to pay part tuition before you'll be issued confirmation of enrollment without which you can't apply for a visa...
