I think i may have concluded the first phase of my German study endeavour, which is determining the schools to apply to.

I had my B.Sc degree in Microbiology, but i have been working in the field of business operations and supply chain management for almost 4 years now. My initial plan was to go for an M.Sc in a business related course, but the German education system places extreme emphasis on Consecutive education, instead of Continuing education.

This means, if i must go for an M.Sc in a business related course, then i must have had a related B.Sc degree. For most of them even, you cant go pass the application stage as you must input ECTs in related courses like Economics, commerce, etc, and i had none of them in my B.Sc.

So, i made up my mind to go for another B.Sc degree, in Business, for the Summer semester.

I have made the following compilation of schools, courses and intake semester. I believe this will help someone out there, plus i will need the inputs of guys in the house:

1. B.Sc International Business
ESB Business School, Hochschule Reutlingen University
I am aiming for Summer intake. I would have to pay 1,500euros per semester for this programme, so it is my plan B. I just love the programme because i will get to spend one semester abroad, plus there is a fast track option of spending an 8th semester to get your MBA or M.Sc degree with one of their partner universities outside Germany

2. Study Semester: Principles of Sustainable Business
Trier University of Applied Sciences
I am aiming for the Summer intake (From March to July). This is actually my plan A. I will apply to my plan A and B schools, if i am accepted for both, i will go for my plan A instead, and ditch plan B school. Then i will begin winter application into the plan C and D schools so that i wont have to pay semester fees of 1,500euros for the plan B school.

3. B.Sc Business Informatics
University of Koblenz-Landau
I am aiming for Summer intake
(I am quite confused about this though. I mailed the school about some enquiries, and i got a response that there are no International programs for the Universities, even though i got a conflicting information on their website. I will retain the entry in my list and reply their mail though)

4. Informations Management
University of Koblenz-Landau
I am aiming for Summer intake
(Same above situation applies to this too)

5. B.Sc Business Administration with Informatics
University of Southwesphalian (forgive my spelling error)
Only winter is available. This is my plan C. I went through the course structure and fell in love with its integration of IT.

6. B.Sc Global Business and Economics (Restricted)
FH Achen
Only winter is available. Plan D

7. B.Sc Business Administration with Informatics
University of Southwesphalian (forgive my spelling error)
Only winter is available. This is my plan C. I went through the course structure and fell in love with its integration of IT.

8. B.Sc Mobility and Logistics
Rhein-Waal
Only winter available. Plan D

9. B.Sc International Business and Economics
Otto Von Guericke Universitat, Magdeburg
Only winter available. Plan D

10. B.Sc International Business Administration and Entrepreneurship (Restricted)
Leuphana University, Luneburg
Only winter available. Plan D

Men dem, please advise

Tanks for your reply.please can some pay for me from his euro account.
seungold1929:

1.Open a domiciliary account with first or access bank.
2. Negotiate and buy euro from Aboki(black market)
3. Take the aboki to the bank, this is to ensure you're not buying fake.
4. Pay the euro to your dorm account and transfer the naira equivalent to the aboki.
5. The bank will transfer from your euro account to your fintiba account.
Note: there will be bank charges.

Sup bro,

My only advise is, be aware that this German waka with free tuition is not definite. Anything fit change anytime. God will help us.

Cheers......

You are right buddy, nothing in this world is certain!! Its in life's ambiguity that the word 'risk' comes up....sometimes, one has to take a big risk for big things as long as the step taken/about to be taken is feasible. Even if by tomorrow, Germany says no way, I'll take an 'L' resign to my fate and plot strategies for even bigger things, as long as I still got the skills that I'm learning and working simultaneously.....perhaps, destiny plays a key role bro.

More cheers!!

UBA requires a minimum of €75 in your Euro domiciliary account before you can open it, unlike access and firstbank

Hello Guys, quick question

Is it advisable to go to the Embassy without funding your account first?

I have opened a Fintiba Account but yet to fund it?

Please what are the consequences?

There are no consequences for not going to interview without Block account.
Just go with your fintiba account opening confirmation.
Many people have gone to do interview without funding and some even got AM without funding.

However, dont let it take long before you send them your funding confirmation.

Cheers!

FAU has been giving admission, I think it depends on the course you applied for
