for me the main reason you guys haven't really had a good AFCON is because percy tau hasn't played well. from watching you guys during the qualifiers it seems your tactics are be solid defensively then give the ball to tau

Spot on. We give the ball away too much

To bad. It takes a different level of professionalism to be a good sports administrator. It doesn’t matter if you have been in the game for ages

I think he has done somethings well like coaching hiring but his transfer dealings and general management of the club leave alot to be desired.

I would not like to use the word deceive every football fan always expect his team to win regardless of the opposition we are no different some might find comfort in patterns some in items of superstition all to boost belief of our team success. So don't begrudge them that just because you want to be cautiously optimistic shouldn't bar anybody else from being widely expectant of Victory. I've been watching football for so many years 2 outrightly dismiss someone's wild expectations the success of Leicester City Greece just to mention a few has taught me always to have hope even when the odds I'm not great.

Anyway at the end of the day it's football we win we are happy to celebrate we lose we are sad get trolled we move on EOD

I'm actually expectant (or at least hopeful) of victory purely on the ground that we have a team of players that if they turn up, can stop Cameroun. Cameroun is not Brazil or Spain. We are at best mates.

But I don't believe in unscientific pattern (eg every 20 years XYZ wins World Cup, Nigeria has never lost to defending champions etc).

Okay, that was you and some others. And that was very illogical because Messi had faced Enyeama just once in 2010 before their 2014 meeting, so where does the "Never" come in?

But in this case, I have dropped stats that have happened on more than two occasions in the K.O. rounds of the AFCON. So you see Sir, your analogy is not cogent at all.

Jarus:

Na so we deceive Enyeama say Messi never score again am.

Senegal won and the noise suddenly died down. In a bid to belittle Cameroun, and at the same time, defend the awful display Eagles have been serving us in this tourney so far, y'all were predicting a lose for Senegal just because Morroco was unfortunate. So why is everybody quiet now? grin

Truidstar, icon4s et al grin

Just be there and be consoling yourself. No body send you for Senegal. You better support ur country alone.

Nothing will happen to ur breakfast if Nigeria loses. So why all these multiple nationalities?

More interest on the word MEEK, bkus I dont support minnows that are boastful e.g SA, Zambia and Kenya

forgiveness:

They can choose to be Nigerians if they want to take advantage of Nigeria's Constitution of dual citizenship because many can still connect themselves.

Sorry buh ur position lacks logic and it is preposterous. Benin is a sovereign state, any land within their territory is under their control. The people in question and their land are ceded to Benin, hence, cant apply for any dual citizenship whatever, it doesn’t happen no where, unless the said people were born before the ceding like the case of Atiku who was born when his Vila was a territory of Cameroun. Another example are the people of Bakassi. Those born before Bakassi was ceded to Cameroun can claim Nigerian or dual citizenship, but those born after the ceding can not.

Uganda did not score against Senegal throughout the game #UGASEN

But this pic below was the celebration at some point in the game.

WHY??

ONYANGO SAAAVE !!!!!

Whilst some score to make fans celebrate, Denis Onyango makes saves for fans to celebrate

grin no ooo the fight was because Morocco's coach wanted the guy to move off the pitch faster and he took exception to that.

Their fighting spirit is just crazy. They never know when they are beaten

Who leaves a potent Oyenkuru, Chukwueze, and Osimhen on the bench Who does that?

It baffles my imagination.
Too fearful to take risk. Too calm and gentle on the players. No wonder they're playing nonsense.
Nigerian players don't do well under gentle and fearful coaches who begs his players to play wing back or defend. You boss up and push them off their butts.

Rest on KESHI, the BIG boss.

This coach is a sissy.

I used to root for and love him, but now I see he lacks guts to take risk, and it's costing a solid side like us to look average.
