4-6 weeks

Genau!

But could be more than 6weeks. It all depends on your Ausländerbehörde ( Alien Office ). Some are just too busy. I remember Mine took more than that. wink

But don’t worry it will end in praise just like mine.

See you in Germany bro/sis. smiley

Happy Saturday day!

But the course of study could be determinant.

Hello leute,
Can one use Neco result in lieu of Waec or combine both for Visa interview.
I am asking for a friend and a detailed response would be really appreciated.
Dankeschön

To the best of my knowledge. Neco can suffice.

I could be wrong tho!

You definitely need original copies for enrollment.

Now that you have admission. Process your original copy.
Wow.. so bro, are you saying everyone here who got admitted used their original for enrollment and not the student copy?
means I have to find a way to extract that my transcript from exams and records for use during the entire process. problem is my school (FUNAAB) don't hand transcripts directly to students.

Hello bro, sincere appreciation for remembering to give back to the "hand" that fed you. Not many people will do that. God bless you.

Please, tell me what you think about this post i made just recently. Its a long read, and i crave your patience in reading it. https://www.nairaland.com/5042902/general-german-student-visa-enquiries/569#79944117

Also, what do you know about the city of Trier and Baden-Wutterburg? I have eyes on both cities now. How welcoming are they in terms od education quality, accomodation and student jobs?

I look forward to your response sir.

Thanks

Good Read! i read all!! just filtered the trivial infos!!! lol

Taking retrospective look at your post @https://www.nairaland.com/5042902/general-german-student-visa-enquiries/569#79944117:

Business Informatics is the way forward. you don’t need german speaking prowess to fit into the labor market. so I advice Business Informatics or Business Intelligence related courses. But you need to pay the price of inculcating IT skills into your bloodstream. Business Informatics is concatenation of IT and Business. So get ready for programming, Data Science, Machine learning in order to stay relevant. No need for any phobia. Its not a rocket science. Its totally doable. there some nice Business IT courses i saw at koblenz( not a bad city--its between Bonn and frankfurt )

For Trier, I only know the city as a beautiful city. i am sorry i don't know much about the city.

Baden-Wutterburg is state and not a city. Has some big cities in it like Stuttgart, Mannheim, etc. there are plethora of job opportunities but plagued with high rent prices too..lol.. some big companies are headquartered there like Bosch( near stuttgart ), Hugo Boss in Metzingen and the list goes on.

that being said , my advice is to pay more attention to courses not cities. I studied in small city Kiel but it didn't define me rather it helped to redefine me for the best.

All the best Bro/Sis!

Schönes Wochenende!

I don't think any Nigerian school does because its another medium for generating revenue for the school unlike here. For enrolment in person i don't think you need the original transcript. it was never a requirement during my enrolment in person. this enrolment we re talking about lasts less than 5minutes. you will be impressed the way your intl office will just handle things meticulously!

Just have other certs/docs in original and worry less about original transcript!

Happy Saturday!

Hi, i also finished from that school. Send your transcript to an official body(your office) or your parent office. It is good to have original transcript.

It depends on the city. In my case I got a good job in dusseldorf without good german. However German language skill greatly increases your chances and jobs that need German actually require like A2 level upwards. I stand to be corrected though.
Also just take the risk and always apply and expect plenty rejections. You have nothing to lose.

Halo Barth!

There are enough jobs for everyone but the question is: are you job ready?

I had little or no language skills ab initio. In short i just started my A1 class which my company offered me pro bono.

I didn't get job immediately! i finished all my courses in ten months (2 semesters) before i got my first job as a software engineer Intern tho i did some blue collar job to keep body and soul together..lol..

But please learn it if possible upto B1 before coming.

Happy weekend!

Hello,

I am not 100% certain everyone here needs the original for enrollment. I dont speak for everyone.

Some schools ask you to come with the originals for enrollment, some schools ask you to send certified copies.

Some schools don't ever ask again since you have certified and sent during application.

So, different strokes for each school.

However, I STRONGLY advise you process all your documents while you are still in Nigeria, we all know how stressful it is to get documents years later especially when you wont be personally available to do the running around.
