Hey guys!
I just got a Xiaomi mi pad 4 LTE. I find that the mobile network does not work unless I'm connected via WiFi. I've try many Sims. Same issue. What can I do?

Are you using a 4G SIM? use *#*#4636#*#* to force LTE only.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by eby001(m): 10:08pm On Jul 08, 2019
I’m practically left frustrated here. I’m not new to online shopping, in fact I enjoyed it until recently trying to get redmi7 on aliexpress, first seller did not process for 7 days. I cancelled it and got my refund. The 2nd seller I encountered shipped, today makes it 60 days since I order this item, yet to recieve it. I wanted to open a dispute, the dubious seller has extended the timer by 30 days and sending me stupid coupons!

There's no option under that menu.

. So sorry for the loss, you can't track a phone without it being switched on, don't lock it yet ooo, borrow somebody's phone and login to your Mi account on Mi cloud; when ever the phone comes online you'll be able to trace it. Sooner or later, the thief will be tempted to turn it on.

I'm not surprised. Turn off the WiFi network connection before trying. Check if there is an option to select network type and change network selection to manual. Then check with the force LTE only code again.

Upgraded from Note 5 to the awesome Note 7. So far so good, its been lovely. Everything about it is smooth. I have been enjoying my device, except for the battery and I think that's because of my network. Genius43, is there any settings to make the longetivity of the battery fair considering the poor network? K20pro up next.
I bless the day I came across this thread.

I don't know if all the network Sim cards you have tried are all 4g Sims. You can also try ntel, smile and spectranet. The phone bands is locked to only 4g networks.

Hi there,
Someone should be help me please.
I was trying to flash android pie on redmi note 5 pro using twrp. I backed up my data with migrate which I have been using.
I flashed the ROM but forgot to flash the back up from migrate. Halfway setting up the phone I remembered, switched the phone and boot to twrp to flash the back up.
If I boot to twrp it normally ask for my password. But now if I put the password it shows failed despite the password being right.
And if I click cancel on the password page, it takes to me twrp options but if I try to install anything it shows my storage is empty.

Got my MI 9 today and my experience with it so far has been great . Beautiful phone, great design , Excellent battery. Forget about what people tell you about battery,. I have been using it since morning and the battery is still above 60 percent, don't know what people want after that.

I'm 100 percent satisfied with this phone.

Welcome to the fold bro.

Honestly, the fuse about the battery is uncalled for, some people just see the mAh size and conclude it's not good, not realising that a lot of things are considered e.g level of optimization, screen size etc Mi 9 hasn't got 95hrs GSM arena endurance rating for nothing.

Enjoy ya beast

Does this mean the tab doesn't support 3G/2G networks?

When making phone call on my RN7 I notice the call volume is very low even after turning the volume to maximum. It is still hard to listen to especially on public area. Does anyone has the same problem and I can I resolve it without using the loudspeaker?

Follow this :
Copy the rom into the internal memory of your device in a folder you should name downloaded_rom, then go to the updater app, tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, choose update package, then scroll down to the folder, 'downloaded_rom ', and tap on the rom. Update will begin automatically, don't stop it till it's completed, takes around 15 mins. Ensure you switch on data during the process.
There is no update package in the options
And the created folder, just realised a similar zip app was inside the second similar folder

Disable WiFi and Bluetooth scanning. Despite the network, I think the Note 5 has a better battery backup than the Redmi Note 7.
