Senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has dared anti-Adeboye protesters to come to his church, Igbere TV reports.


Nigerian musicians, Eedris Abdulkareem, Baba Fryo and Felix Duke had on Monday led protesters to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.


The artistes staged a protest to demand that the general overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, speak on the RUGA settlement project proposed by the Federal Government.


They queried Adeboye for maintaining silence on Leah Sharibu’s captivity with Boko Haram.


They accused him of shielding Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who is a pastor of the RCCG, despite his inability to secure Sharibu’s release.


The group called on the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to suspend Adeboye for what they described as his complicity on the matter.


Responding to the protest in a tweet, Suleman said the protesters would not be bold enough to come to his church for such.


“Just saw pictures of protesters at RCCG accusing Papa Adeboye of not speaking about leah sharibu and Co..part of the people that accused @renoomokri are they not Christians? Well, they know the kind of churches they have boldness to go and protest..,” he said.

It is dangerous staging a brainless protest against genuine man of God.Those that did against Moses were swallowed up by the earth.

So disappointed in most of the submissions. That he is old is the more reason why he should be fearless. Talking about what Men of God go through when they speak up is another reason why they should speak up. Christianity in deep terms is all about selflessness. You shout the whole heavens calling on Holy Ghost to burn own your perceived enemies but forget to speak for the helpless. Where is selflessness in Christianity today? A whole bunch of us are just Fans of Christ far from been a Christian. The more reason I always envy the courage and fearlessness of Obasanjo, not for his outburst this country would have been Rugarised. Reading all comments, you know what struck me most? The amount of gullible Christians we have in Nigeria. Fear of pastors have dominated most Christians and have deprived them of their God-given rights to protest what is not right in the Church. "Judge not", touch not my anointed", " he who is without sin" & so on verses of scriptures have made Christians to be blinded by the truth. Pastors have brainwashed their followers.

Study to show yourself approved. Be educated. Know the wrongs your pastors are doing. Confront them, chastise them, bring them into accountability. Let everything be done decently and in order.

I disagree with you. That Bible passage did not support your position of "judge not." The kids in that passage were making fun of the prophet but not judging him. If is proven that a so called "man of God" is not doing right, his action(s) should be condemned and it is expected of him (the so called man of God) to amend his ways. Remember when Paul rebuked/condemned Peter, one of Christ's apostles, act in Galatians 2:11-15! Remember?

Well man, I don't really blame you, you strike me like an atheist so I will address your issue like one.

1. If you see a pastor telling his church members to pay their tithes regularly, he is not doing it for himself. In a church like REDEEM, Tithes is what they use in paying all the FULL TIME PASTORS SALARY. It's Not like he is the one spending the tithes.
And I've been a witness to it more than three occasions where PAPA ADEBOYE Is giving out his birthday presents that include CARS, HOUSES and the rest like that, He is giving it out to people he doesn't even know.

2 He is an elderly clergyman, There is limitations to what he can poke his nose into, If you clearly understand what Apostle Suleiman said up there, The man is right.. The young pastor are the ones expected to keep getting themselves involves in all these Brouhaha and not an elderly clergyman.

3. Last time I remember, PAPA ADEBOYE is not the only Great Man of God that we have in NIGERIA. So my dear brother, where did you put their names cos i haven't come across it.
