Sis, register for antenatal care asap as others have already advised, seek medical advice if in doubt about anything. All the best!

Family planning is good especially when you don't plan to drop them back-to-back. You should use this opportunity to start looking at other contraceptive options for when the baby comes. It's a long way but like they say, proper planning prevents poor performance (you get abi?)

I discovered mine at 28 weeks, thank God you know yours early, I avoided sugar, carbs, vegetable oil , junk food , soda(coke Fanta and co), I started using little quantity of pomace olive oil since then, I avoided salt, I started seeing a dietitian too. But the protein in my urine went to 3 plus so I had to deliver at 30 weeks because it was affecting my liver already.

How many plus of protein was seen and what’s your bp like?? How old is your pregnancy?

OGTT is done to rule out diabetes in pregnancy..

You will be given glucose drink and your sample will be taken after an hour, you are expected to take nothing by mouth from 12midnight prior to the test or 8hours before..

If you failed the initial one, a 3hour glucose test will be done to confirm diagnosis..

The advise wasn't from a Nigerian doctor and it isn't a myth. Like I said, we all are different and so is our healing process. It's just normal to wait for the body to recover from the surgery and childbirth, I think. No one says you can't get pregnant. Of course, you can! Even 6 weeks post CS and that's your cup of tea. Good on you that everything is going well. All the best!

Please I have a complaint. I'm 26wks+ recently I started feeling pains at the lower part of my tummy, to urinate is wahala cos I feel like my internal organs are about to come out through my vjay...I also feel pains even when I sleep on my left side... please is this normal? Or should I run to the hospital? Biko help a confused FTM.
Also I'm getting too fat current weight is 77kg as against 59kg before I got pregnant, please advice.

Breastfeeding does not affect pregnancy if you can cope with both.

Sweet and hot belleful mamas how una dey?

Congratulations to you all and strength to complete this phase of your ministry as mothers.

To carry baby inside belle is relatively easy and sweet compared to this watch woman that my bobo has turned me into.
He will be all sweet, lovely and peaceful during the day but noisy and troublesome at night. When I play nursery rhymes videos for him at day after feeding, he will be all giggling and making small small baby's language that he recently started. But do same at night all I get in return is shouting and hitting legs on the bed with his fist punching the air.

He was up last all night, I got tired around 12 and handed him over to dh and slept off. Woke this morning and found him beside me sleeping peaceful as if nothing happened last night. It's 9 am and he is still sleeping. Dh said that they were awake till 3 am. All he wanted was to be carried and making gibberish conversation with you.

I feel like waking him now so he will feel it small.

God's time is the best... the olive oil doesn't work sharp sharp like castor oil...thats y one takes it earlier...just keep up with the exercise and d things uv listed...me too na jjc like u o... May God grant us safe delivery..will start pineapple too this week...im in my 36th week

Here o. Very early February though. First pregnancy. Serious morning sickness led me to this forum. I have been reading small small and following peoples' story. It's all amazing. Praying for God's support during and after. Not been easy with vomiting and nausea, haven't been able to work . But God will see us through. And Glad to see women support one another. Sorry dear. But the Good news is that you are at the finishing line. Yours is the type that as soon as you start feeling contraction, baby will be out the next minute. That was how it happened to me.
All I felt is heaviness of leg will walking which will make me to stop for a while then continue my slow and steady.
The night I started feeling severe heaviness of jajana with feeling of pooing and weeing at once I delivered within 3 hrs of getting to hospital.

What’s your regular blood pressure? What value did they get to say it’s low?

I am a regular 90/60mmHg person, if it’s higher than I will be concerned .. one time I got 120/80, I was in severe pain and it’s not right for me while it’s the normal value for some..

The caffeine in coke will help if it’s low..

Breast feeding should not give you low blood pressure.,

Increase your fluid intake too and rest well..
