The issue with Nigerians is that in trying to form informed most times they exhibit ignorance.

My dear, Abuja has natives that are referred to as "Gbagyi" or "Gwari".
And Abuja indigenes have every right to be represented as a " State" in every government policy. They may not have a Governor but they do have a senator, house of rep members and also have Council Chairmen and Councillors in the 6 Area Council that make up the FCT

The FCT is actually treated as a state in Nigeria when it comes to issues like this. Whenever u r applying for anything and ur state of origin is required, u will also c FCT on the list. To buttress my point check the recent list of PTDF scholars, you will c FCT there as a state.
Though it is not a state there r indigenous ppu from there.

Go and check the PTDF list and you will discover the state is now 37 due to the inclusion of FCT.

I used to think like you, applying logic to explain everything. Yes your assertion makes so much sense ordinarily. However, you fail to understand that for the fact that everyone prays to God, only God sees their heart and know the genuine people. Secondly, out of the few genuine people, some carry the grace of working in NNPC while others have been destined to bring glory to His name in other spheres of life. Not that I am discrediting hardwork, but don't make the mistake of thinking that only your hardwork got you through because the "equation of prayers" has been balanced as everybody prays. If it is by hard work only, there are some people much smarter than you who didn't make it past the CBT for reasons as ridiculous as network failure.

On the issue of prayers, I would suggest you hear the stories of some of the very successful people around the world. The bottom line is that you should work hard but pray for God's grace for your hard work to yield the desired results. For those that are Christians, you can relate to the story of Peter and John in the bible. These two men worked hard all night trying to fish. They believed they had it altogether to make a good catch but unfortunately, all night, they caught nothing. But when Jesus gave them a word, they caught so much that they could,'t haul ashore.

For the young man who is a first class grad and still puts all his hopes and efforts into God's hands, Please, continue to do so. Your type do go far in life to achieve a lot of success. Not everything in life can be explained by logic of human wisdom. This fact has been proven times without number.

I did my EH interview today after being rescheduled from Monday. Was drenched in rain getting to Abuja late last night but no problem with that.

NNPC should be commended with their effort no matter what the outcome may be.

The interview went well but by now, I believe everybody should know that statement is relative and it bears little or no relevance to the outcome of the recruitment exercise.

I just want to solicit that the faithful prospecting NNPC staff on this platform should help broadcast my little contribution back to Naija and beyond through my academic channel called Davetuts Academy. You can do that by sharing the link above.
