Nairaland Forum as a case study.
You are 100% Correct. It might not be expectations but the bad environment. People meet on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Nairaland is almost as big as those platforms, so, there's supposed to be some sort of Meet and Chat here. Job and business connections.
I know some people who met on LIB and Lailanews who travelled to locate themselves and upload the pictures.
What you get here is nothing but insult and tribalism, no matter how you correct them.
If is funny people who don't know each other are even enemies here and at each others throats.
You want to quote someone, the first word are BASTARD, SHUT UP, IDIOT, MOROOON, YOU ARE GOAT etc Irrespective of the age and achievements of the person being referred to. Where does love want to come from.
People who bully will even be afraid it is a set up. I have mentioned it several times that some people will lose helpers and partners to all these.
