My governor, I think you're distracted already. This needless rally where you spent millions of naira of Edo state money is a clear evidence that the heat is getting to you already. I love you, but i don't think today's rally was necessary. To rent crowd is no big deal,you didn't have to go that way to prove a point. Edo Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has dared those he termed ‘Abuja politicians’ to come and take over activities of the Edo State House of Assembly.

Governor Obaseki, who spoke tough, wondered what happened to some politicians that joined in the struggle to entrench ‘Let the people lead’ mantra.

Speaking at a well-attended rally in Bénin City, Obaseki said Edo is in safe hands with himself, Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu and Secretary to State Government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie.

Why must the governor reckon with a tout like Kabaka. Kabaka's support for Obaze is because they both belong to the same confra. As the chief executive of the state I believe he has right of choice of his preferred candidates.

see Ambode case is very different from this One.

Firstly Ambode was a good administrator but he was not a good party Man and as long as Nigeria still exist you need to be a good party man because party decide who fly their flag.


Secondly Godfather are not made from Abuja they are made from home, just like the popular slogan that politics is local. Tinubu never took any position or post but was building political structure that was why Ambode couldn't fight back and ambode retreat back to learn and launched back in future but if he had throw caution to the wind he would have jeopadise any chance in future..

I advise Mr obaseki to win the battle and war because the war is the most important if not those that are rooting for him will dump him when the table turn..

Oshiomhole is not fighting Obaseki.Obaseki wants to Lord over the leaders of APC in the state.Unfortunately for him,he became governor through the political structure of Oshiomhole in the party.since Oshiomhole became national chairman,he left the party for the governor to manage.However,the governor has been trying to assert his authority over the party in the state but the existing party leaders have been resisting him.Personally,i feel this issue can be resolved in less two hours of meeting.The governor shifts ground and the other group also shift ground i believe the crisis will end.
