see Ambode case is very different from this One.

Firstly Ambode was a good administrator but he was not a good party Man and as long as Nigeria still exist you need to be a good party man because party decide who fly their flag.

Secondly Godfather are not made from Abuja they are made from home, just like the popular slogan that politics is local. Tinubu never took any position or post but was building political structure that was why Ambode couldn't fight back and ambode retreat back to learn and launched back in future but if he had throw caution to the wind he would have jeopadise any chance in future..

I advise Mr obaseki to win the battle and war because the war is the most important if not those that are rooting for him will dump him when the table turn..
is that the question I asked? I asked a question and this doesn't answer it, please and please I made it clear, answer my question or dont bother replying ,since you decided to reply even tho I wasn't talking to you, you should have taken the cue to answer or restrain your self from beating around the bush like you just did. Is English that hard to comprehend?

Oshiomhole is not fighting Obaseki.Obaseki wants to Lord over the leaders of APC in the state.Unfortunately for him,he became governor through the political structure of Oshiomhole in the party.since Oshiomhole became national chairman,he left the party for the governor to manage. However, the governor has been trying to assert his authority over the party in the state but the existing party leaders have been resisting him.Personally,i feel this issue can be resolved in less two hours of meeting. The governor shifts ground and the other group also shift ground i believe the crisis will end.
leaders who want money abi? So when he didn't listen to them it now translates to "lord over them" ,they went to cry to oshiomole.

A few party leaders felt the governor wasn't doing their bidding so they felt offended, that is the summary of this fiasco. Now this has been a reoccurrence in Nigerian politics so I am tempted to ask, which should come first the good of the people or the will of the party. Cos it seems parties leaders have the god complex of "I am the one that put you there".

This case is not new, they have been at it for two years now ,I remember some party leaders complaining bitterly about how they were neglected,I guess they were waiting for ikpaje to wet their palms as e nor drop ,dem come dey vex.

Anyway, their wahala, so far I will personally make an exception and vote if they pull an amobode. I don't even need to collect 1k bribe for it.

It's all about money and ego.Personally,i don't like some of the decisions of governor with regard to governance in the state.Forexample,i think the governor messed up concerning college of Education Ekiadolor and College of Agriculture Iguoriakhi. It is wrong for the governor shut down the college of Agriculture for about two years now for a purported renovation that we can not see.I am a Bini man from Edo South and i believe that there is no excuse that Ekiadolor has not been given a remarkable facelift since it became a university of Education. If Adams Oshiomhole can build a standard university in his community under 2years what is stopping obaseki from doing same in Edo South?

You say Oshiomhole is minority?
Who is minority in Edo state? Do you know the population of Afenmai people to call them minority?
I think that's a shallow statement and a divisive one at that!
Edo state is not owned by any one tribe. Benin don't own the state and the Obaseki-oshiomhole brawl has no tribal sentiment attached to it except for shallow minded followers of the said politicians.
The power brokers in Edo are not all Benin men just so you know.
Obaseki is a dull politician but a good technocrat and administrator. If not for Oshiomhole, Benin would have been way worse than an embarrassment. If you recall the lucky igbinedion days you would know the calibre of Benin politicians.
A little advice for Obaseki is to concentrate on his duty and leave party politics alone cause politicians can be deadly. They may sting him hard in the end. It is unwise not to have political backing of those ahead of you in the game. There's always a price.

people know that the rally of today was paid. even if it was not
1. the perception out there is that it was paid- that's a very deadly weapon against obaseki. it shows he is not so different from the politicians he is so much against.
2. it was an unnecessary show of ego. now he would hardly have the widespread sympathy of an underdog.
3. this is because of the reps delegation
4. was the event organised for free? that show he spent money on it. money which he claims is scarce and should not be wasted.

for me obaseki might be trying in some areas but he has failed in his promises at the debate - lga autonomy, continuity of Oshiomole's projects(the main premise on which he was elected) and security.

let me point out something funny. you do know that most of our Benin brethren like to travel. if u turn it into a tribal affair, the esans and the edo north present an esan man to correct the imbalance. that man might just win. what with the population of other tribes and the dwindling of the benins due to migration.

My governor, I think you're distracted already. This needless rally where you spent millions of naira of Edo state money is a clear evidence that the heat is getting to you already. I love you, but i don't think today's rally was necessary. To rent crowd is no big deal, you didn't have to go that way to prove a point. This battle is a long one, you would be amazed to see lots of betrayal on the way. Politicians can't be trusted. Eventhough I'm your fan,I disagree with the manner of inauguration that held in the state. Please come down from your high horse and resolve this matter on the round table.

so a former governor should start dictating how the present governor run his state? Sorry biko we don't do that in Edo state.

Oshiomole had his time and he misused it. If not for chairmanship position he has, oshiomhole wouldn't have been a threat to obaseki
obaseki will struggle to match oshomole's achievement.

As somebody who is an APC stakeholder in Edo state i feel very ashamed the way obaseki is going about this matter. The issue at hand is not as serious as he is portraying it to be in the media. When he removed revenue collection from the hands of Akugbe ventures, everybody in the party including Adams Oshiomhole supported his decision.Honestly,Adams gave him free hands to manage both the party and the state. The problem with Obaseki is he doesn't condone contrary opinions in the party.I remember during the last general elections,he insisted on Iyoha going to Rep instead of Obaze that was supported by Tony Kabaka and other APC leaders in oredo, Oshiomhole allowed him have his way and Iyoha eventually lost woefully.I usually feel pained whenever he label some APC leaders as greedy, yet he financially sponsor Protest and induce some leaders in state financially. Finally,I think this is another lesson to governors who want to influence or hand pick their successors.Adams Oshiomhole imposed obaseki on Edo APC.I still remember how boys went to flog A top APC chieftain in Edo South at home because the man and some other leaders were supporting odubu.

Are you kidding me? So for supporting a candidate a full grown man was flogged in his house? Hmm, Tell me how bokoharam will go away? The flogged man might just be waiting patiently for opportunity to strike back and it will be blamed on Buhari or herdsmen.
