I guess Nigerians have realized that it is better to spend funds on their businesses and assets than wasting cash on visa fees just to get a coloured denial paper in return. awumen: 4 Likes |

I guess the visa denial rate is very high at the moment that might be the reason for the silence on the threads. Clearly this is a crackdown on Nigeria and this is not an hidden fact. This is a link to an article below published by The Washington Post on April 14th 2019. https://www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/nations-the-white-house-is-targeting-for-visa-overstay-rates-account-for-small-number-of-violators-omit-brazil-venezuela-china/2019/04/24/956ef970-65d7-11e9-82ba-fcfeff232e8f_story.html?utm_term=.b52a9a51959e This crackdown could significantly restrict Nigerians ability to enter the U.S in the near future. |

Hi, kudos to everyone here. U guys are doing an amazing job! Pls i have few questions to ask in respect of the b1/b2 form: 1. I just completed my NYSC October last year and I am yet to secure a job. In the form, what will I fill my occupation? Is there a NIL option? 2. About the current, and previous employment, will I have to write about my NYSC ppa and my internship during my course of study as that is the only employment history I have. 3. My mum will be sponsoring my trip and she has a business of her own. Is there a total balance she must have withinin the last six month? 4. What is the next available appointment date I can get? This will help me fill the itenary/ travel plans option PS: my uncle invited me for the fall season and I will stay with him throughout the visit. Thanks in advance for ur prompt response 1 Like |

missjack: Madam or sir, We are not VO but to me you are not qualified at this time because the embassy will think you are trying to run away because of the situation of the country, You don't have any ties to your country and also no job history please I will advise you don't waist money please go for masters degree and apply for a student visa instead. Or you wait till you are eligible. My opinion 6 Likes |

Try to build your economic ties in Nigeria by getting a job or setting up a business before attempting this visa application. You need to be independent, at least earn some type of income for yourself. Presenting yourself to a U.S consular officer as an unemployed adult still depending on your mother’s fund is very big red flag. missjack: 3 Likes |

Finally Nigerians just realized this embassy's are on our soil to scam us........... The want us to keep applying and the continue to use our money to develop their land. Imagine having 1200 applicants interviewed daily. 57000×1200 =68,400,000(sixty eight million four hundred thousand) Everyday! Then check it monthly 68,400,000×30 =2,052,000,000 (two billion fifty-two million) Every month! That's roughly 6million Dollars monthly 5 Likes |

The white house plans massive deportation of illegal aliens from Sunday,14th July 2019. This also includes collateral deportation(If for example you are in the vicinity of an illegal alien and you are found and your status isn't legal, you will also be deported).Trump ain't smiling at all |

profjustine458: How? they're developed already? oh or you mean Nigerian not eligible should stop applying for U.S visa? what U.S.A gave us in aid/grant is 3x what they made from the Embassy and I'm very sure that 1/4 of what they made is spent on maintaining their infrastructures in Nigeria, in short they used part of the money in purchasing the new properties in Eko Atlantic so that means the money stays in Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

profjustine458: Visa is a privileges not your right, which country will open their eyes and allow Nigerians to turn their countries to what you turn Nigeria to, stop the blame game and start doing your part in making this country great, South Africa just gave the Ghanaian passport visa free access to their country when will that happen to Nigeria? you and I know why that will not happen unless we change our ways. 10 Likes 1 Share |
