That man doesn't support Naija.
He is a coward and an unrepentant pessimist.
I still find it hard to believe he is a Doctor, maybe traditional Doctor "Maybe oo"
Look at Supernerd, always bubbling with optimism, I can bodly say he is a genuine Medical Practitioner.

I am a Bonafide Nigerian and I love the Super Eagles

In the beginning, I had doubts about this team but they are gradually winning me over with their attitude on the field of play

But I know one fact; everybody cannot say positive things about the Super Eagles all the time. We are created different and we think differently.

Hence, it only makes sense to respect the opinions of others no matter how silly they may sound.

Granted, we give each other a hard time here by yabbing and making jokes about our wrong predictions and what nots but this should never degenerate to insults.

Some of us here have a hard time swallowing the opinions of others and cannot make intelligent arguments without insulting the other party. Times without number, I have called out some of these people. While some apologize and retract their statements, others remain adamant and choose not to admit their wrongs.

I want to believe we all possess a level of intelligence to converse on this thread and what differentiates the mature minds from kids is the ability to question opposing arguments with facts and without rude remarks.

I am calling on us especially those of us who are elders to act accordingly:

You don't have to reply every rude remark.

You are not in control of the other persons thoughts and opinions; positive and negative

I also want to believe that you (the agggressor) don't feed the aggressee neither do you clothe or pay his house rent grin grin. So the person can oppose you when he wants albeit intelligently.

a lot of improvement in the team ... Kudus to ROHR . he has done some good work on the team . and now we re also dangerous from our set pieces , so far it has given us 3 goals in 5 matches , that is a lot of improvement . That Etebo free kick is solid , the keeper was lucky for the ball to have kissed the bar

Etebo will take that back his club, Omeruo will take back heading back to his club

Afcon is good

I no join the elders o. U know say I be youngee for here grin

I think it’s unrealistic to expect all to argue intelligently. Just take a look at our society today. This thread is a subset of that.

It also takes people skill to handle those monkers that are not civil.

As regards the NT, we have players who may not be at the top yet, but have massive potential. That coupled with their unity and strong belief has seen us get to this stage of the AFCON — Thanks to Rohr. We can’t boast of beautiful all round play, but we do the needed when it matters most. I don’t know how long this team have to be together to start playing the way I would like gen to play, but what matters most at the end of the day, is trophies.

Let believe in this team till they lift the cup. 2 matches to go. 4th AFCON title loading...

The difference between Nigeria and Algeria is only the former has had a wake up call in this tournament. Also Algeria has beaten the team that beat us. So they will be coming into this game feeling superior. That’s exactly the mindset we want them to have in order for us to beat them

So, all of Sub-Saharan Africa is for Senegal or Nigeria, black Africans don't like the Arabs at all. If they had to vote, I bet they would vote North Africa out of CAF

Well said darkelf. I have always advocated for enlightened discussion and debate on this thread devoid of insults.

The beauty here is the diversity of opinions and view points.

While some may find the perceived pessimism of others unbearable and threatening, nevertheless respect for every man's opinion should be the unwavering rule.

I just pray we win this afcon to lift up the spirit of the Nigerian people. There's too much pain and suffering in the land ,with much to groan about and little or nothing to be happy for.

Mikel/Obasi (2013) just shades it because they were, at the time, the perfect combo of creativity and brawn. Our present midfield is mostly brawn and is light on creativity.

The way Chikwueze controls the ball even in the most difficult positions and situations, only Victor Moses does that among the Super Eagles players.

At one point his great sense of control caught the attention of the Camera man.

He was a delight to watch and a thorn in the flesh to he defense of the S/Africans.

I want him to do one more season with Villarreal before leaving to work with "jurgen klopp"

I dont really see Algeria as a threat, especially now that Atal is out.

Place Chucks on the right side to force Bansebaini to retreat, and leave Belaili alone with Awaziem.

Place Musa on the left to born out whoever will be stepping in for Atal, to cut out the support Mahrez always enjoys from their RB

Play Ighalo upfront to make himself a nuisance to disorganise Benlamri and Mandi

Lock up the midfield with Ndidi and Etebo and allow Iwobi to roam.

Please play Balo ahead of Ekong. Ekong is too shaky and too prone to errors(misplaced passes). We really need need to avoid mistakes.

The management of Super Eagles’ hotel abode, Meridien Cairo, presented the Nigerian team with a special cake to celebrate their win against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Wednesday, Completesports.com reports.

Eagles defeated the Bafana Bafana 2-1 in an AFCON 2019 quarterfinal match at the Cairo International Stadium to secure a spot in the semifinals.

Samuel Chukwueze and William Troost-Ekong were on target for the Super Eagles in the game, while Bongani Zungu was on target for the South Africans.

The Super Eagles moved into the Meridien Cairo on Monday afternoon after playing their four previous games in Alexandria.

They were quartered at the Helnan Palestine Hotel during their stay in Alexandria.

Head coach of the side, Gernot Rohr and some of his players took pictures with the cake along with the hotel management.
