chrisxxx: ![]() Op you guys should enjoy the proceeds of the sale of lands along water ways and water collection points ( ohia mini), that is what your collective greed has brought to you people. I lived in that place late 90s nothing like flooding even fishermen go to the swamp to fish you guys sandfilled the whole place during the dry season and sold them off. This flooding was never heard off before on that axis ..you can't cut your cake and have it...enjoy the dividend of your greed and leave the government out of it |

We must not fail to remember that some state are naturally below sea level just as lagos is 4% below. We can only manage this situations but MAY not be able to solve or bro permanent solutions to them except we scatter everything and replan just as the eko Atlantic |

GloShare:you dont get it, I dont think you have been to that area .The water came up less than 6 years ago, there was no flood there, people kept building on flood lines and the water started backing up to the road from the inside. There was drainage built on that part when the road was built. On the other side of the rd there is a deep water way there at the end it was blocked off too |

erico2k2:I understand you partially. Was the West always like this? Were they never like us in the past? Have you read books set in the West 200 - 500 years ago? Should we reinforce how we are now as a way to move positively like the West to whom we are losing many of our people, including those who die in Libya and the Mediterranean Sea? todaynewsreview: |

Global warming meets climate crisis meets leadership disaster. I hope Lagos and other coastal cities are warming up? This has nothing to do with APC or PDP. There is a climate emergency coming with the speed of a lunatic train. What can we do? |

The last time i passed there the taxi i was in got stuck in a pothole covered with water, passengers had to come down and push the taxi. While some youths were standing at the road side waiting for vehicles that will fall into a pothole so they can push it out and be paid. It's quite sad that nothing has been done about that by the government. |

Its over two years sef, this is the third raining season we are experiencing this. No government presence or action. All the building especially the fast food that was constructed before this got worse was approved by the government. Heard the owner went to court and won and has reopened her business. There's a new sea growing on the same East/West road by Adamac before Deeperlife. Where is government? If Federal is too far to notice what of state and local govt. Na only to collect money from people they sabi. |
