ChrisKels:

But Solanke aint one of those better players grin grin

You, What do you know?

Do you know how many English players that are languishing in the academy or lower leagues despite being English?

The English has still produced better than than Nigeria has ever produced in her history even till date, they have better players than us.

So, be humble.
yes they have better players than us but they are overhyped

Yes, I'm supposed to ask you. You seem to know me already. Making ill-judgement on a character in order to sound intelligent. I gave facts, but you went on to attack personality. They say the truth is bitter. Keep wallowing in mediocrity and playing the blame game. Typical Nigerian/African. Most of us on this forum haven't left this country. The day you leave and see how leadership is supposed to be, you'll curse all your leaders since 1960 to date.

Why can't Rohr start Ighalo and substitute him at 70 mins to enable us see what Onyekuru offers?

Afterall, Ighalo has been given lots of opportunities in the GWG that is making Rohr and other Nigerians feel "we don't have options".

In the game against Cameroun, it was clear to all that he was effective in the game, but same can not be said about the South African game.

My problem with Rohr is his inability to make changes when it's due.

Ighalo was not having a good game against South Africa, as it normally happens in football. Why not try Onyekuru or Osimhen? It's either they

perform or they don't perform. Ighalo was not performing, so the "risk" ( quote and unquote) was worth taking.

My thoughts exactly.

While it can be argued that Ighalo's presence in that match took attention away from our wingers, it can also be contended that if not for an ineffective Ighalo, that match ought to have ended by 4:1 at least.

Well, I want to believe Rohr is the coach and knows better ...so sad

When Samuel Chukwueze found out he was going to start against South Africa on Wednesday evening, the Villarreal youngster received advice from two senior Super Eagles players, Obi Mikel and Ahmed Musa.

The Diamond Academy product was preferred in the starting line-up ahead of Levante's Moses Simon and Bordeaux's Samuel Kalu.

''Ahmed Musa and Mikel Obi, they told me Samuel you know how to play ball, just do what you know how to do best. They told me not to listen to anything or be afraid,'' Chukwueze said in the mixed zone after the game against Bafana Bafana.

The former Golden Eaglets dazzler scored the opening goal 27 minutes into the contest, becoming the youngest player to score at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in the process, aged 20 years and 49 days.

Chukwueze went on to play the entire game and was very impressive so much so that he was named the Man of the Match by the Confederation of African Football.

''This is my first major international goal for my country, it's not easy to score against South Africa in this big stage.

''In every competition, you need to keep your head down, it's very hard to score this kind of goal.

''I was very, very happy. I couldn't imagine Samuel Chukwueze scoring this kind of goal in this major competition, it was an amazing thing,'' Chukwueze concluded.

That day, the only thing that didn't make me lose my heart, lungs and eyes to fear was that I had a dream (during my siesta) that we won 3-2 and the team came from 2 down to draw before we left it late. He didn't warm the bench and he made 7 appearances from January to May.

At Liverpool, he warmed the bench last season. Understandable.

At Bournemouth, he didn't.

Shooting Stars, Warri Wolves and Kada City could potentially play in the NPFL next season. The NNL was divided into 8 groups and group winners will play each other to determine which teams get promoted (group A1 winners will play A2 winners, A3 v A4, B1 v B2, and B3 v B4). Eight teams will be relegated to the NLO and eight teams will be promoted to the NNL.
The Super4 competition will still hold.

Groups A1, A2 and A4 have one outstanding match that may affect who goes into the playoffs.

Nigeria Airforce FC/Kada City v Jigawa Golden Stars/FC Taraba
Shooting v Akwa Starlets
Road Safety v Adamawa/Mighty Jets of Jos
Dynamite Force v Warri Wolves

It is foolhardy to keep on blaming slavery for underdevelopment as a person or as a people.

The question becomes, what have you done with your decades of independence?

Was Germany not totally ruined by the full brunt of the Allied war machine during WW2? Now, they are world leaders in technology. They don't go on blaming Hitler for their woes.

Was Japan not nearly decimated by the Atomic bomb in 1945? Yet, they not only dominate in technology in this modern times but even in medicine and sports. Look at the Nobel prize winners and you'd see how many Japanese scientists have been awarded such Honor..

Development requires will and the commitment to do so. It doesn't augur well with victim mentality. Many Blacks all over have this mentality and thus, they are lagging behind.

Were Germany and Japan artificial states?

I can give you permission to sleep till Sunday and start dreaming, but once you get a dream where we win, wake up, if not tarry till Sunday till a winning dream happens. If by sunday, before the game, no winning dream, wake up after the game so the losing dream would have lost its power.
