People delaying application till they have all the expo they can get are at the risk of not getting shortlisted at all. Once they get the amount of success they need in the test they won't even shortlist others.

I’m just perturbed although I did well to relay my plight via email to shell.

It's stated in the mail; "Please note that if you get disconnected from the internet while taking the online assessment, you can re-enter the test using the test link in this email, when the internet connection is restored. However, you would have to re-take the entire section where you got disconnected, with a fresh set of questions."

Yeah. I tried doing that but it’s showing “ability test closed”.

Guys! Go do your test! it is quite easy! You will get questions like "Which is odd option" "As Car is to driver: Ship is to -----" Also for numerical "24+20 = 4 * ? " Quite easy but you need to be swift and fast! Good luck.
