OlawaleSmarter0:Whatever rocks your boat. As long as it is made in Nigeria. I chose innoson because they have advantage of scale. Innoson can produce 100 vehicles quicker than proforce. And the army also believes that given their frequent visits to Nnewi. Though there is nothing that stops everybody from working together. When it comes to tanks manufacturing, it would require both manufacturing and armouring. So both parties would be needed. |

ClearFlair:All they did was award massive contracts to import military hardware, but loot the funds and saddle us with used and falling apart Tokunbo military hardware. |

OlawaleSmarter0:But can't they order 100s of it once? Why this 4s and 5s? This our military truly is under equipped! |

plaindealer:I don't support corruption but Nigeria already produce military vehicle under Jonathan. Mass producing is the problem. |

MondayOsunbor:Nigeria is a net exporter of steel. You are not manufacturing enough for you to start importing steel. |

RTSC:Quality is better than Quantity. They make similar products for the UN and AMISOM (African Union) |

RTSC:Innoson can't produce armoured vehicles talk more of MRAPS. |

RTSC:Have you seen the Video of where Soldiers complained about Innoson Vehicles? It is not about Quantity but Quality Proforce specialize in Armour vehicles and they are the best INNOSON is only good for ordinary Cars and vehicles, even at that ordinary cars and vehicles people still doubt the quality of their cars But you can be sentimental |

OlawaleSmarter0:I'm a soldier bt guys don't mind them, all na scam. With our military generals scam, we've been banned by UN from fighting along other country in Sudan cos the money given to our generals to purchased standard weapons and vehs were embezzled by them, they only painted the old weapons and 1970s armour vehs bt were later exposed. For this reason, we've been stopped in participating in UN which is the main operation where we soldiers earn our dollars and ball like G-boys. I'm seriously pained. |

RTSC:We need to mass produce, we need to invest in the form of billions in loans or grants to ProForce, Innoson, and others to scale up by building a large military complex to produce everything from armored trucks to bullets, rockets, missiles, guns, drones and so on. We need money and leadership will. |
| Re: Nigerian Army Commissions New Locally Produced Vehicles by RTSC: 3:13pm On Jul 13, 2019 |
OlawaleSmarter0:Proforce does not produce vehicle, they armour. Innoson does not armour, they produce. Two different things. Taking an innoson hilux to the battle zone would be as foolish as carrying a Toyota hilux to sambisa. They are not armoured. |
| Re: Nigerian Army Commissions New Locally Produced Vehicles by RTSC: 3:16pm On Jul 13, 2019 |
slimthugchimee2:Armoured vehicles are normal vehicles with armour. Maybe with bigger wheels, and height. That is the job of proforce.. Innoson produce, they send it to proforce for armouring. |

Greenarrow01:Waiting for the president to walk his talk by using a Nigerian made/assembled car like they used to do in the 1980s with Peugeots mostly. Buhari should stop the scam and hypocrisy that has marked his presidency. Let his change start with him. |

RTSC:That is a lie ! A big one sir. Ijebu-Ode in Ogun state should not be too far from where you reside. You can pay a visit to PROFORCE compound there. What you will find there will shock you! |

RTSC:Stop peddling falsehood ! It is clearly stated on their website that they’re specialized in armoured vehicles manufacturing and personal protection. If they indeed don’t manufacture vehicles as you claim , tell me why would they inscribe their brand name on someone else’s product ?? You’re not making any sense . And you have violated rule 8. Don't post false information on Nairaland. I hope the moderators see this and do the needful . Cc Mynd44 Lalasticlala OAM4J Dominique justwise |
