Proforce produce and Armour

You can Check their website

They have produced Armour vehicles for United Nation and African Union

They still currently use their product for combat in Somalia.

When it come to Armour vehicles Innoson is no match

But you can be sentimental
This is what I got from the site.

Replacement of delaminated or damaged bullet resistant glass.
Replacement of heavy duty suspensions.
Replacement of damaged brake systems
Armour upgrade
Complete refurbishement of accidented vehicles
Paint job
Replacement of damaged run-flat inserts

They even have a picture of before and after repairs..
There is no production.

Still waiting for the day that y'all will produce unmanned drones and sophisticated military wares.
We are suppose to be the power house of Africa, or atleast westafrica
There shouldn't be a G7 without Nigeria or atleast one African country.
But unfortunately, our military bosses have used our money to buy walking stick finish.
Bokoharam can't be sooo sophisticated that we are unable to attack their stronghold at one swoop, we have the jets, the helis and the army.
But then.. They want the war to go on for years, not minding the cost implication of ban rolling the war.
The politicians kuku can't do anythingss
As military men they chop their own, civilians too they steal their own.
Oh there was a country
Oga, you have said everything finish. It is a sorry case oh and I dont think there is a solution.

Re: Nigerian Army Commissions New Locally Produced Vehicles by RTSC: 3:36pm On Jul 13, 2019
Okay, I was mistaken. I think they produce MRAPs.
I just saw it now.
So yes, they obviously produce.

How many can they produce in 3 months?

I was wrong. They produce, maybe not large scale enough.

Armoured vehicles are normal vehicles with armour
Maybe with bigger wheels, and height.

That is the job of proforce..
Innoson produce, they send it to proforce for armouring.

Thus is not particularly true, unless its armoured vehicles for civilians, vehicles like MRAPS, LAVs, Fast recon vehicles has different designs and concepts, that differ it from civilian vehicles...

Answer me this, can innoson make a vehicle like MRAPs

No.

Which is why we need proforce for the military stuff.
Though they need to start doing better in terms of the west African market.
There is no competition.

I don't know how to put that into your head.

They are two different things.. They are not competing.

Proforce is no match for innoson when it comes to civilian vehicles.

Conclusion nothing was made

I don't know about the tires. But I know that the military make their own tires.

And the chest beating starts. You people always find a way to turn every discussion into your usual us against them silliness.

Is there any competition going on between a mama and papa civilian vehicle assembler and ProForce the armored truck and military vehicle company? Are they even doing the same thing?

Low self-esteem no go kill you people sha.

The Nigerian Army formally commissioned into service a range of new indigenously designed and manufactured vehicles during its annual celebration day at the Ikeja Military Cantonment in Lagos state on 6 July.

Several types produced by the Nigerian Army Vehicle Manufacturing Company (NAVMC) were unveiled, including a new version of the Infantry Patrol Vehicle (IPV) featuring a larger frame, bigger wheels, and more space for personnel while still carrying a heavy machine gun in an overhead weapon station.

A Tactical Patrol Vehicle was also presented, which appears to be a high-mobility platform. It features room for up to eight personnel and can be armed with a heavy machine gun in an overhead weapon station.

An armoured personnel carrier designated as the Light Tactical Vehicle, which was first presented in an incomplete form during a firepower demonstration in April, was also exhibited. The vehicle appeared to be far less crude than its previous iteration, featuring a two-piece windscreen and an enclosed protected weapon station.

The latest version of the Proforce Ara mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle, known as the Ara 2 was also unveiled during the event.

While an initial batch of five Ara 2s was delivered to the Nigerian Army in March, no images were released at the time as the Army did not want to advertise the vehicle and its capabilities, a Nigerian industry source told Jane’s .

The Ara 2 is very different from earlier designs and features a fully monocoque hull, all-round STANAG Level 3 armouring with STANAG Level 4a on the floor for increased protection against mines and improvised explosive devices.

As part of the Nigerian Army Day Celebration, a second batch of five Ara 2 MRAPs was handed over to the Nigerian Army, bringing the total number of this variant in service to 13 as three had been handed over a few weeks earlier, the same industry source added.

LOCALLY ASSEMBLED VEHICLES.

NOT PRODUCED OR MANUFACTURED IN NIGERIA AS PER THE SPARE PARTS.

THE SPAREPARTS WERE BROUGHT FROM ABROAD AND ASSEMBLED IN NIGERIA.

Do Proforce also have battery plant, tyre plant, etc or are you beginning to agree that it take groups of industries to manufacture a car?

Innoson even has more manufacturing independence than proforce as should be expected from a civilian producer with more economic of scale.

They produce their own plastics, tyres and chairs, possibly even the glasses and brakes as well as fabricate the body which gives the shape.

The only Major thing imported is the engine and electronics.

Don't mind them. None of them can answer the question on when Proforce started manufacturing tyre, battery engine etc.

I'm a soldier bt guys don't mind them, all na scam. With our military generals scam, we've been banned by UN from fighting along other country in Sudan cos the money given to our generals to purchased standard weapons and vehs were embezzled by them, they only painted the old weapons and 1970s armour vehs bt were later exposed. For this reason, we've been stopped in participating in UN which is the main operation where we soldiers earn our dollars and ball like G-boys. I'm seriously pained. cry
you better leave. Nigeria is waste of space.
