Very stupid to trade without discipline and good risk management. There is no reason you should blow up your investors capital. People like this makes others run away from trading and reinforce the popular ignorant belief that the forex market is a very volatile environment where you can't control risk.
Nonsense!

Right now the banks are waiting for every other person to fill in their orders then they do the opposite. These guys are balling big time grin
No it doesn't work like that, its a 5 trillion dollar per day market and many players are involved with different interests. Yall should drop these retail trader myths!

If you say so. Remember there has to be a buy for every sell order and vice versa.

GBPUSD has 40 pips to give for the weekend.
Entry: 1.2538
TP: 1.2576
Recommended lot size : 0.01

AUD poised for some significant gains against some pairs. AUD looking strong medium to long term.
Charts coming before market open next week.
Just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Closed for over a hundred pips..
Now waiting to see if there would be a bearish price action.

CADCHF
As explained in the previous posts. I found an entry.
Will that supply zone deliver again?
Let us wait to see.

Easy 40 pips!

But wait oh, there's a high rate of FAKE NEWS these days. Today's release for USD PPI and core PPI had good numbers yet the cable went bearish. I think retail traders are better off ignoring the news if this is going to be the new trend. It is very callous to release a bunch of wrong numbers to trick traders, whoever putting those numbers out had better not release anything so we know we are on our own.

If you can't help, do no harm. I mean retail traders already have the odds against them now you throw in FAKE NEWS (Yes, I have resorted to calling it fake news as no other logic explains things like this, don't even mention buying into the news, whats that? angry )

The only good thing about today's FAKE NEWS was that it gave me extra $120 (I used 0.3 lot size), but that does not mean I would keep quiet angry I would pay less attention to the news these days. Today was a close one.

end of rant

Closing the upper trade at about 390 pips. Held the position for more than a month.
Holding the lower one but it is now a risk free trade as stop loss is at Break Even already.
I think this will continue lower.
I may sell again if the next support (1.8980) is broken but I don't know yet.

GBPNZD.
NZD still looking strong.
Missed the next opportunity to sell at the 1.8980 area.

Opened trade over 500pips in profit. I have moved the stop loss of the opened trade from BE to lock down 300 pips profit.
Now we look to the next support. There may still be an opportunity to sell there.
If things, however, change. I may have to exit with the 300pips.

This is tragic after all time and energy invested, to those condemning the manager, he really tried to have traded manually and profitably for 117 days something i can rarely find, i feel he would have avoided that one bad entry that caused this crashed if he allows EA to calculate lots to risk in percent for next trade or for the entry signal, trading evolve every day though with new strategies for managers to adapt quickly to.

Hello house, i need your advice.
I want to start a project next week called #Project_Discipline.
I planned to invest just 30$ and discipline myself on how to grow it. I believe using Demo is a good way but personally i don't prefer demo cos no emotions attached.
So i plan to watch over this account for 2yrs with the strictest of discipline. Hopefully i can achieve that and see how big it grows.
Good idea? Yay or Nay?
Besides I'm into forex for about 2yrs now

This is also as rare as finding automated profitable trading. A good trader is a good trader whether automated or manual. No side of the divide is better. Some of the EA users still keep tweaking their EAs every time or even manually tampering positions opened by the EA.

Here are some consistent manual traders with far more history and I didn't even look too deep...
https://www.darwinex.com/account/D.58234
https://www.darwinex.com/darwin/ERQ.4.4/
https://www.darwinex.com/account/D.66738
https://www.darwinex.com/darwin/ODE.4.15/

that one bad entry that caused this crashed

Looking at the graph, it wasn't one bad entry that was the problem. It was the same old enemies we always talk about. The reality is that most people are not adequately prepared to handle them. You can see where I marked to highlight where he started gambling, probably to make as much money as possible from his investors for that month.Which reminds me of that pros and cons link I shared. The dots represent various positions so it wasn't a one trade issue.

Add the fact that he was trading without stop loss and also having as much as 20+ open trades and you can understand.

Bottomline, the crash has nothing to do with being a manual trader

I still haven't gotten used to posting on Nairaland.
Here are a few trades I took.

I missed another EURCHF entry this morning but I'll be looking to enter if it retests that trendline.

EURJPY - looking for shorts too

good decision. to SELL is much riskier than buying at d moment. i will only give it to SELLERS once price move below 59.45 until then BUYER have it in my own opinion. so buy the dip near 59.45 or at any time with SL below 59.45

Good morning All
