Hello, good day and thank you for this opportunity.

As a fresh young graduate of Psychology with a proven track record of excellence in sales, customer service and HR, I believe I would be an asset to any organization if given the opportunity.
I am an excellent communicator, an avid listener, team player, quick learner and I pay a great deal of interest to detail. I have previously worked as a sales person in a highly competitive market, this experience helped me develop my communication skill and also aided me in understanding the value of offering peak customer service, because your customers are your greatest source of marketing. People don't pay over #200,000 to sleep on a bed for a night in a hotel room when they can easily get the same for #15,000, for no reason.... it's the service they pay for, the satisfaction that comes with the package. I got to understand that if people are happy with the way you made them feel as a result of the kind of services you rendered, they would always come back or atleast refer a couple of prospective customers to your business. I also have the "think like an owner" perspective when on the job. I believe the organization is a reflection of me and i am also a reflection of the organization, so whatever happens to either, affects the other. I love being affiliated with success, so I would be at my best at all times to make sure failure becomes non-existent. Also, my experience in HR is a plus because i got to understand the importance of establishing and working in accordance with organisational values and culture. Knowing that having a positive team spirit aids in fostering work life and getting things done on time and also understanding the organizations values i.e what the organisation stands for and seeks to achieve, makes me an excellent team player.
I believe with my little experience, quick learning ability, coupled with my academic course of study (Psychology; Understanding of human behavior, thoughts and actions, and being able to predict, manipulate and influence the said thoughts and actions using observation and statistical analysis), I would be a perfect fit for your organization.

Why I should be employed
Employment, the constant hand that sweeps through humanity in different clouds. This cloud reveals our hunger, desires, and passion for building the intriguing design society must climb through.Among these countless talented clouds, here stands before you today, a man. A man who is part of this intricate cloud willing to yield not drops of watery ambition but inspiration of solid gold. So that society might benefit of me through my employer. Such that in the next few years we could look back and appreciate how far greatness have come! Such that we could look back and understand truly, not just "why I should be employed '', but "yes! We employed him"
, I can confidently work with existing facilities contributing the best of my ability skills and experience of achieving organizational goals and objective while deriving job satisfaction. I have a track record spanning over 6 years of working with different businesses serving as a sales coordinator, business affairs manager (BAM) and also as a Teacher in the Educational sector. Each of this diverse sectors has graceful expanded my experience and horizon; to see things as they really are and to blend perfectly in this constantly revolving and evolving labor market. Experience: they say is key. An employee will be lost or not be able to water any strong root without a prerequisite experience. I have the experience. I have the knowledge. I am flexible, I am willing to learn new things, explore new horizon and add value to my employer while contributing to myself and the society at large. Because we need the society and the society needs us.
I have been fed knowledge and an in depth look into every inch of societal deficiency and the beauty of perfection we could still remould and paint of it. In every societal setup, a touch of morality is needed to set alight order where chaos is bound to reveal its crooked face. Wisdom and human experience is profitable to guide. This is where I believe I fit in perfectly judging with my years of experience and further wide research, I have understood every organization and its work force needs a counseling unit. As everyone within a workforce interact, you realize there is an intricate pattern to both psychological and physical health. Both aspects are so delicately interwoven we could express them as the "brain'' and" the body''. Whilst a man looks physically fulfilled that may not transform into psychological balance. We all need to be inspired and encouraged, We all need someone to motivate us towards continuity; to achieve our best within and outside the work force. This luxury of having someone to share such issues with isn't always immidiately available to those bold enough to crave such. Yet these people are expected to meet a target both at work and in family affairs while it is still expected to be in consonance with time frame.

To further buttress this point, I would like to use an hypothetical "Mr A and Mrs B" as a case study. Mr A and Mrs B works on a "8 to 5" basis. They both have a family issues which of course is bound to affect their ability and productivity either negatively or positively depending on how its managed. Mrs B runs the stress-packed schedule of feeding and dropping her three kids in school . Mrs B who also just bought a car shares a parking space and office space with Mr A who happens to be a seasoned driver but he is having a hard time with his nagging wife. If Mrs B comes to work and is unable to park well in her space, she parks with her car trunk slightly brushing a chunk off Mr A's brake light like a shark bites of its meal with a side of its mouth. Mr A psychological picks an image of his wife who is always conceived by him as a woman unable to comprehend certain factors. This could result in a brawl between Mrs B and Mr A( co-workers) who may not be patient enough to understand their varying circumstances.
You see, I would love to say "this is why I should be employed", but instead, I would say "why shouldn't I be employed when I can guarantee informed choices ? Informed choices which are capable of shaping, boosting and solidifying human relationship and understanding among your labor force in order to attain absolute commitment and then achieve a common goal. I believe workers who were once noticeably productive but now reduced to or redundant in output are struggling in their workplace and can be best helped by interventions that link family and work.
We have found ourselves in a time suicide is as popular as a fish with water. Yet, people shy away from councel that would help reduce such self and communal unloving act. It could be argued that workers despise seeking counseling from community agency to address family problems probably because of privacy and stigma associated with having family crisis. When I say family crisis, it's not limited to marital discors leading to physical exchange but extends to drug abuse, alcoholism, various forms of addiction, family problems such as divorce, financial challenges or difficulties, child abuse and neglect, and poor parenting skills. All these may or may not be directly connected to work place challenges but it's bound to affect your workforce because whatever affects a man's family affects him too and its directly proportionate to how well a man delivers his duty to make prestigious organizations greater. So it is advisable for every firm or organization to have a counseling section solely dedicated to their employees. This will to a large extent guarantee privacy, accountability and accuracy in tackling situations that could be counter-productive.
Ofcourse, I believe I can convince you of a known self revealing fact: at one point in time or even now, every member of your labor force has for certain occurrence they would be willing to share and seek advice about. And with this I am convinced I wouldn't be a bad result if employed and given a chance to prove myself.

Why i should be employed

Growing up from a typical niger delta home was one factor that influence my pursuit studying engineering . Thinking since delta state was an oil rich state i would find my myself in one this oil firms in no distant time.

I wrote my waec and neco 2008 thinking to be admitted in any of the engineering courses the following year. I had to read the whole of ABABIO new school chemistry and P.N OKEKE along side ANYAKOHA new school physics textbook.MAN MATHEMATICS AND NEW GENERAL MATHEMATICS just to be a must engineering student. As young as i were i was reading for 6 hours just to become an engineering student.

To cut the long story short.... I did pre-degree program in one of these states universities in 2011after tremendous reading to study in any federal university because state universities were not my thing at that time.

In 2011, that was the year it truly began, i was a pre-degree chemical engineering student and we were told that after the one year program, only 40% of each department will be admitted and our names have not been recognized by the institution. I said to myself that i won't go home from here having spent 2 years at home reading all my life to become an engineer. MY MOTTO WAS THE NORMAL WARRI THING: WE DIE HERE...( you know the story)

I was reading at all times....i meant all the time....i was always reading....i had no reading strategy or time table, i didn't even know when is best for me to read, the only time i can remember i didn't read was either I'm sleeping or bathing or in class. I read as if i had to write those exams and make HEAVEN.

I later got admitted to study chemical engineering in 2012 and i was in the moon but gazing at the stars that someday i will shine like the stars.

I said to myself that if only i can read the way i did during my pre-degree days that i will make a first class. I taught about this and i said let me give it a try. I read so hard that in my 100 level first semester i got a first class GPA. i was strong and of good courage but lo and behold i had to settle for 2-1 in chemical engineering.

Looking at the time past, i spent 2 years at home but was reading so hard coupled with my 1 year pre-degree program that was my most intense year in my reading ministry and 5 years of reading chemical engineering made it 8 years of reading like a mad man.

I graduated 2016 and was happy looking forward to companies that will grab me and hold me tight like an asset to them because that was all i was meant to understand. I came out and boom it was all about another phase of competition, they told me this one is called LABOUR MARKET where you feel the heat of unemployment in the land. I was feeling bad but then i asked my unemployed friends that have graduated before me and then they said i have to READ

READ WHAT AGAIN I SAID TO MYSELF....i was bittered because i have been reading, i have read i said to myself. I later asked them what I'm to read and they start giving me bunch and dozens of materials ranging from dragnet to workforce to HCP to Gmat to SHL and tips on interview and so on.

my dear, i started reading again in 2016 until i went to service in 2017 and was still reading. Meanwhile it took me 1 year and 2 months before i went for service and all through this while i have been teaching chemistry, physics and mathematics and was also reading those materials.

I read all through service for 1 year and was thinking handling my nysc certificate was all that was needed by me. I came back from service October 2018 and all the money i saved from service along side my work has now gone down to job hunt.

I have been writing series of exams, multiple interview invites.....regret mail all most on a daily basis. I said to myself what have i done wrong..i became broke because i spent all money in job hunting, travel far and wide and sometimes lodge hotels.

I said to myself .....IF READING FOR THE PAST 9 YEARS CAN DO THIS JOB THEN WHAT IS IN THIS FOR ME..i kept reading and my job now is job hunting.

I am still reading and will always read because learning is a continuous process. If I'm to be employed aside my education, let it be because i have devoted my past 10years in reading and my intelligent quotient is on the high side. I can even look into your head and see all there is in it ( just kidding though). i am highly inquisitive, determined , dedicated and curious of knowing how to make solutions to problems. i have been a science teacher for like 2 and half years and i know what it means to be ready at all times to those science believing you are the alpha and omega in the science field, it taught me how to prepared and proffer solutions to problems.

I'm still reading and will still read. GOD BLESS!!!!!

Why I should be employed
Employment! What is employment? Doesn't it come with being employable provided a prospective job seeker can add value to his employer? At least that would be synonymous with the theory of a soup that was able to locate salt. I am happy to be privileged to locate this prestigious set up and am willing to demonstrate my prospects with vivid explanations.
We live in a country teeming with a very versatile huge youth population. Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with one of the largest populations of youth in the world, comprising of a figure significantly well above 3 million members. From this angle, you discover getting employed is a rarerity akin to riding a horse in the sky. Notwithstanding, today, I am here to choose a horse to ride on. And I believe I can take this establishment past the sky, which is never the limit. At least from my own conception.
A significant part of this huge Nigerian youth population is being unwillingly starved of chances by our economic and social setting. This youth population can determine and bring about or facilitate huge changes the country really needs at this point in time. I have three key aspects, a door leading to helping youth exploit and show case their immense talents. These are economic activities that can guarantee rapid results or solutions as i may have you call it.

1. Information Communications Technology
2. Paid Volunteers service
3. Market Analysis of Consumer Products (MACP)
Taking item one, it's obvious we are in the digital age and this digital aspects are expanding. Back in 2004, very few people could have envisioned a busy Cafe in Abuja, Lagos, Benin or Port Harcourt could become less busy in 2012. What happened? It was time and dynamic nature of ICT! We must catch up with TIME literally ! Back in 2006 I used to visit the banking halls with my mother before she passed on. The bank was always filled with different sort of queue and the drama that comes with it; Babies crying, nursing mothers feeding, stamps slamming, men arguing politics and what not, the AC getting too unbearable and some old man trying to jump the queue... And you get to withdraw with your cheque book no matter how small the amount of money you want to withdraw is. Looking back over those historic years, it seemed like a mad house. But what changed?

Re: Some Fun While Job Hunting by MoonWater: 10:20am On Jul 14, 2019
ICT! ICT brought improvements with the introduction of Automated Teller Machines. Just take a walk to any ATM and effect your withdrawal using your credit cards. That's not all, you can effect other transactions on it. These are few instances technology has brought positive improvements and comfort into our lives and businesses. With our teeming youth population we can improve or develop better and efficient inventions. Digital currency, manufacturing phone accessories, graphics design, programming, geographical mapping of streets and remote areas within Nigeria in for quick and easy location. All these could be done using our cell phone or a laptop provided there is a united ambition and goals. Because where many assembles for concise common goals, discoveries and success is always the aftermath.
Taking item 2, which is paid volunteer service, I would like to state before going further that for every service rendered, it comes with an expectation of payment in one form or the other. This thus serves as motivation. We have all witnessed what self sacrifice of being a volunteer can summon forth. The young lady who was recently employed as a member of the ICPC board of Directors, 27-year-old Hannatu Muhammad from Jigawa state gained experience as a result of volunteering. While being provided the opportunity to volunteer and serve humanity, our teeming youth population also get to learn and gain experiences from and about different societal setting.
As a result of conflict and unrest in some northern part of Nigeria, there has been a need for volunteers who will care for those affected both emotionally and physically in order to brighten their lives and give hope. These volunteers will complement the efforts of the staff already on ground who can not solely cover the large territory affected by violence.
Also there are various vaccinations that people miss out on as a result of inadequate staffing of health officials and the remoteness of various communities. These volunteers could be employed to fill these gaps.
What I am saying is the Human Resources section will be a hiring body who gathers volunteers to help different organizational set up. This will also to a large extent help our unemployed population gain problems solving skills. I believe if I am employed, I can conviniently facilitate this engagement with a better drafted step
Taking the last item which is item 3; Market analysis of consumer products, I would like to chip in this... "Just because someone calls you a failure doesn't mean you are a failure. You only become a failure when you decide to see yourself in a cloak of failure. Nigeria is not a failed state, it's just a "slow thriving" country". I decided to borrow this quote of a Nairalander to paint a perfect piece of our market. No product fails, it only needs the perfect market and the right branding. You see, while a producer is supposed to market groundnut in the southeast he decides to market it in the north where it abounds in surplus. While a woman with a larger quantity of palm oil is supposed to market her products in the far northwest region, she is somewhere in Ewan, Edo state, selling it cheap; oblivious of what she could gain only if she could take a bold step a move a little up north. Information isn't cheap and this is where our youth could come into play. Youths could be engaged to gather information and such information could be sold to those engaged in a particular market.
The man who moves his cows through the thicks and farmlands while avoiding cattle rustlers. Could make huge sales at less cost with a ranch. He would need an idea of where and how to set up a ranch. This is information and information sells. The woman who trades cocoa could make more gain and be recognized in the international market but she had no idea how to proceed about it. This is where I come in with varying ideas of past and future vision of how economic systems should function to the optimum.
I have a Senior School Certificate qualification and First School Leaving Certificate. Also, with a Bachelors in Economics and masters in Economics in view, my problem solving skills is undoubtedly unlimited and when merged with a team of young vibrant professionals, I believe we can achieve a greater goal. I believe if I am employed, I would contribute and develop not only your establishment but the teeming Nigerian labor market.

The Kindergarten Secretary

On my 21st birthday, my boyfriend promised me he was going to help me get a job after I got admission into National Open University. The institution's motto is “Work and Learn,” and I was very eager to get my self busy since the university did not hold lectures like other conventional universities.

Few days after my matriculation ceremony, I received a call from a man while I was having lunch with my hostel friends. He told me Julius(my boyfriend) spoke to him about me, and he requested we meet at a school in Evboutu or lose the big job. I had only swallowed two balls of Eba and I wasn’t filled at all, but I sprinted to my room and changed to something modest. I didn't want to lose this big job.

As soon as I got to the school, I explained to the gateman, and he directed me to an office. Seated there was a guy, probably a teacher because he had this long neck physics teachers usually had. The office had an empty seat and desk in it. On the desk was a laptop and some bunch of files. Upon sighting the chair and desk, I was like,
“wow this is my seat, I’m going to be a secretary.”

The first question he asked me was:
“Do you love children?”
Okay, what's happening here, I was confused, what do loving children have to do with a secretary job?
After a moment of silence I replied:
"Yes sir, I love kids very much."
“Wonderful” He exclaimed
"I’m the Director of this school, Julius told me about you. I like young girls who are hardworking, come tomorrow by 9am for your interview, I want you already". He concluded with a smile and gave me N1000 to go back home.

“Thank you so much”! I quickly collected it, and left the office.
On my way home I picked up my phone and called Julius
“Hello, baby guess what.” I asked
“what” He questioned “
I am going to be a secretary” I exclaimed
“Wow congrats babe,” I am happy for you he replied cheerfully
“Thank you, babe, I love…. “ Before I could complete the sentence, the call ended due to insufficient fund

The next morning, a painful pimple erected from my cheeks mixed with severe headache and catarrh. The only money left with me was the N1000, the director gave me. I contemplated on using the N1000 to get some drugs or using it to transport for the interview
“Get some drugs you might die on your way, remember you are the only child in your family” a voice whispered into my ear
“Go for the interview a big job is waiting for you” Another voice whispered into my ear.

I listened to the second voice, freshened up and left for the interview. The interview was supposed to hold by 12 pm, but it was already 11:00 am, and there was no bus. I had been standing on the road for more than two hours….. I almost cried “Is this how I will lose this job?” I asked myself.

As I was in thought, a bus approached me and I quickly jumped in. On my way, the bus gets caught in a traffic jam. “Chai this must be the work of my village people” I whispered to myself. I ran out of patience and decided to sprint down to the school (opportunity to burn some fat).

When I got there, I was sweating like a ram who just escaped being slaughtered. I was boiling! My hotness increased when I saw a lady seated on “my seat” Yes that vacant seat with the laptop I told you guys about.

I was already boiling in anger when the Director came in “Oya follow me” he requested He took me to a classroom filled with so many kids, the smell of poop was all over the place, some were crying while some had catarrh running down their nose. Then the director began his speech:
“This is the creche class” upon hearing that I was like OK, no secretary, I can manage being a Kindergarten teacher.

But the next sentence I heard was
“Your job is not to teach them, we have a teacher already. Your duty is to change their diapers whenever they defecate and clean their nose”
Are you kidding me? Change babies diaper? Is this the big job this fat belle man had been talking about? I felt like strangling him.

"Ok, how much is the salary" I enquired.
He waited for some seconds and replied:
"75"
I was like "75,000"?

I was already in the mood to start cleaning their diapers for that amount. He laughed hysterically and replied,
“No o it is N7500.”

My hotness tripled to the extent it could even cook beans.

This is slavery! 7500? my transportation to and fro is N6000 that means I will go home with N2000 every month
Waste of time!
Waste of energy!
I would have finished my eba that day If I had known.

“Thank you oga for your offer” I muttered
If I had spent one more minute in there, I would probably kick him in the balls. I quickly walked out of the premises, an

d as for Julius I never spoke to him again.

This is funny,Thank God he gave you the 1k

WHY I SHOULD BE EMPLOYED

Recruited as a graduate trainee agronomist in a company that specialises in greenhouse farming in 2018, having little knowledge about greenhouse production of vegetable crops such as bell pepper and tomatoes, as an individual propelled with the desire to excel in any endeavour I find myself in, it took me nothing more than three months before I won the heart of my boss as I was put in charge to manage an acre-size kit that houses nothing less than 4,000 plant stands of tomato and bell pepper stands. In the first cycle, I achieved and maintained optimum production level of the kit while ensuring that safe practices and sustainable farm practices are strictly adhered to by the two junior workers assigned to work with me.

Under 7 months as an agronomist trainee, there was need for me to be transferred to another location facing serious challenges ranging from nursery production to care and maintenance of transplanted crops amongst others, and my boss once again had confidence that I was the best choice amongst the graduate trainees to be sent. I was put on the spot and had to work under pressure to deliver. As an agronomist in charge of the new location farm having 4 one-acre sized mega kits each housing a minimum of 4,000 plant stands of each, making a total of 16,000 plant stands I was to take charge of. Being a responsive and proactive individual armed with the training I have received during the few months I joined the company, the first problem I solved upon taking charge was the problem of raising seedlings. Optimum production level can never be achieved most especially in crop production once the seedlings or nursery to be planted are in bad condition. I tackled that foundational problem the farm location was having. I successfully raised several batches of seedlings of tomatoes and bell peppers while maintaining at least 90% germination rate. By achieving this, cost incurred transporting seedlings purchased from far locations was eliminated as there was no need ordering for seedlings from other locations; losses as a result of poor establishment of transplanted weak seedlings were reduced; cost in terms of time incurred waiting for seedlings to be readily available was eliminated; and most importantly, the survival rate of transplanted seedlings increased.

I achieved optimum production rate of 3.5kg per tomato stand and 2kg per pepper stand on the average, while ensuring sustainable farm practices are adhered to. I was confirmed as a safe fully as an agronomist after appraisal of my performance. In less than 5 months after being confirmed as a staff, I got promoted and was made to double as the field agronomist and also the farm manager of the farm location. As an added responsibility being a farm manager, I demonstrated competency in people management as I was in charge of all staff affairs. I managed 8 junior staff, 1 supervisor and 1 security personnel. I was responsible for controlling the receipt and dispatch of all items from the store; I maintained accurate inventory farm records; I assessed performance of work daily in order to meet the productivity target, ensured work schedules created are duly executed daily, monitored daily attendance, investigated and resolved causes of absenteeism, prepared weekly and monthly report and also assisted in preparing staff payroll. My strong work ethics, flexibility, sound planning and time management ability made me excel in the role I played.

As a business minded individual with special interest in agribusiness who knows the importance of personal development and have come to grasp with the reality of how digital the world has gone and how important marketing is in any business, I boast of a digital marketing certificate courtesy of Google. I have a strong inclination and fascinating interest in Search Engine Marketing/Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media Marketing.

I have over the years also demonstrated strength in capacity development as an educator who taught agricultural science in secondary schools. I designed training programmes appropriate to the skills needed in accordance with the educational curriculum in the schools I taught and also carried out performance assessments to determine the skills gaps between current and desirable learner skills levels to improve learning conditions in class. I also set-up a school garden/farm and also supervised students during on-the-farm practical work. To make students gain interest in agricultural science and agribusiness, I established Young Farmers Club in one of the schools I thought. I engaged students in practical agriculture with strong emphasis on organic farming using the sack method which can also be referred to as vertical farming. I have introduced and also trained students on rabbit farming. My aim as an agricultural science teacher during my teaching experience was to make as many students change their orientation towards agriculture while making them to view farming with the right lenses. I am also a certified teacher, duly registered with the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria.

I am very proficient in the use of MS word and Ms Excel. I have experience in type-setting all jobs related to Ms word and Excel. Also, I have a knack for data analysis as I am acquainted with the use of SPSS which I used in analysing data gathered when carrying out my undergraduate project work. I equally analysed and interpreted data for other colleagues of mine who also needed services of a data analyst.

I have developed competencies requisite for performing the role of team leader as far back as my NYSC days while offering volunteering services. I served as Brothers Coordinator of NCCF at community level in Oyo state during service year in 2016. In 2016, I also volunteered as Distribution Point Supervisor at USAID/Federal Ministry of Health Mass replacement of Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets Campaign 2016 (NYSC), leading the team sent to Kewulere village in Sepeteri, Saki East LGA in the distribution of Long lasting Insecticide Treated Net (LLITN). These volunteering experiences have helped in shaping me and building competencies that has made me adapt to positions and situations in the real world of work that requires good leadership skills.

I am very confident that with the competencies, skills and experience I am equipped with, I am flexible and capable of fitting into any establishment or organisation seeking an individual whose career objective is to join a dynamic and progressive organisation that offers challenging work experience.

I am a graduate of Agricultural Education who bagged an award as the best graduating student in the department of Vocational Education (Agric. Unit) and also a trained agronomist possessing basic skills in digital marketing. My flair for business development is second to none.

I am a proactive and responsive individual who has developed competencies such as problem solving ability, multi-tasking ability, as have been demonstrated as a field agronomist/farm manager ensuring success in the business and also as an educationists. I possess basic skills and experience in report writing, data collection, collation, analysis and interpretation, administrative duties, and project management. I am efficient in organisation and implementation of programmes/projects.

I believe I would be a great asset any establishment would be glad they recruited.

WHY SHOULD I BE EMPLOYED

Thank you for the privilege and opportunity given to me to state why I should be employed by your esteem organisation. I believe after I elaborate on how my skills, knowledge and abilities will be of immense benefit to your organisation, you will be convinced that I am the best candidate for the advertised job.

After reviewing the requirements, it is clear that you are looking for candidates that are self motivated, innovative, creative, honest, and can perform confidently when employed. Given these requirements, I am certain that I have the necessary skills to perform effectively, efficiently and above expectations in any position I best fit since my interests aligns with your organisation’s goals and ambitions after taking out time to research about your company.

I am a young graduate of Political Science from one of the pioneer State’s University in Nigeria, where I bagged Second Class (Upper Division) and an academic award as the best graduating student of my class, which explains how diligent and consistent I am academically and physically as I always strive to be the best in all I do and this mentality has paid off in the course of my young career. I have also held leadership roles while I was an undergraduate as Entrepreneurship Group Leader and Students’ Coordinator for my class and fellowship respectively, where I developed leadership skills and abilities in successfully leading over three hundred people to achieve stated goals and objectives, which ultimately prepared me for the journey ahead in my career. Prior to my admission into higher institution, It is worthy of note that I had my primary and secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria.

I subsequently played an integral role during my service year as a top executive in my Community Development Service Group and Coordinator of the Nigerian Christian Corpers’ Fellowship at my location, where I and my colleagues contributed our quota towards the betterment of our host community through various projects.

I can research, investigate, analyse and proffer solutions to issues of personal and national concern especially political issues such as the issue of unemployment which pose a great threat to development in the Nigerian political environment if nothing is done about it- this was the bottom line of my final year research project submitted to the department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Science at the institution I attended here in Nigeria. This was born out of the passion and empathy I have for Nigeria and Nigerians respectively at the time even now when many graduates are frustrated and consequently depressed thereby resorting into negative vices as a result of unemployment and underemployment. I am people oriented and I believe that one can do little as a lone ranger and much more with people, thus the place of people who are the most integral part of any organisation cannot be overemphasised, therefore, an organisation must ensure that the right people are employed.

Over the course of my young career, I have derived joy in impacting requisite knowledge, skills and abilities on others, particularly my successors, students and those around me, and I feel fulfilled when people I coached or teamed up with succeed. I can successfully adapt to new techniques where necessary and I have a flair for human capital development, teaching and researching, hence I’m currently working on a research centred on “life after school” which deals with practical examples and reality of people after their schools days.

In my quest to become Information Communication Technology (I.C.T.) compliant, I embarked on personal training and later enrolled at a top computer training institute in 2017 where I became certified and proficient in various computer applications such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop and a host of others which I believe will benefit the organisation’s productivity and profitability given that I can do basic and advance graphic design, photo editing, mathematical and statistical analysis with excel, digital marketing among others.

I am a goal oriented professional who has been consistently praised as focused, hardworking and industrious by my friends, clients, management, and colleagues at work because I always abide by the ethics of any profession I embark on and my attention to detail is second to none. I have developed relevant skills including adaptation to new techniques, communication skill, organizational skill and conflict resolution. Overall, I have consistently demonstrated teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking and communication abilities and skills in every aspect of my Subjects’ Teacher role at two secondary schools in Mushin, Lagos State and Imeko-Afon, Ogun State, both in Nigeria where I cooperated with Management and Staff as member of various committees to achieve stated objectives, including impacting skills and knowledge on students, preparing students for external examination, facilitating leadership training seminars, coordinating sports activities and other extracurricular activities, etc. and at Sterling Bank PLC, Nigeria, where I introduced and assisted customers and shareholders in registering account on electronic channel platforms, helped customers and shareholders resolve electronic channel disputes, sold products after effective marketing with prospective customers, and perform general administrative duties to support professional staff.

I could not have achieve any stated goals and objectives without effective planning and prioritising which in my own view, like punctuality is the sole of business. I believe that my ability to plan and prioritise will go a long way in helping your organisation surpass its goals and continue to remain relevant as a major player among her competitors in the industry.

I invite you to review my detailed achievement contained in my curriculum vitae to be sent at your request as I am open for opportunities.

After reviewing my curriculum vitae, I believe you will agree that I am the type of competent, compose and competitive candidate you are looking for. I look forward to elaborating more on how my specific skills and abilities will benefit your organization when employed. Please contact me by quoting this message, like, share or send me a personal message so we can arrange for a convenient meeting time.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Akalia:
Interview Romance

So I got this invite to a job interview for the position of a data entry officer, this comes a couple of months after applying to the job. I had even forgotten of the application because I had being busy attending other interviews anyway .

I bolted out of bed before 7:30am, freshened up, took a light breakfast and headed out since the interview was slated for 9:am.

Fortunately, On that fateful day traffic didn't cause me any delay unlike the usual gridlock experienced in my city during the morning rush hours on a daily basis. So I got to the interview venue and it was a business complex building towering up to about 11 floors. I had to navigate the staircase up to the 9th floor where the organisation's office was situated.

Ding dong! (I pressed the bell on the door)

The door opened and right before me was standing a chubby figure. Hello! Good morning sir, welcome to*******(the organisation's name). She said. She had the kind of voice that would get a grown man Hot under a cold weather. Oh I didn't mention, it was a rainy and cold morning on that D-Day.

Good morning, please I am here to meet with Mr. *****(the interviewer), I responded.
OK, come on in. She said. I gladly stepped in past the door and stood right behind her so she could lead the way but she had to shut the door before taking the lead. I tried to steal a quick glance at her but she was quick to shut the door behind her. Follow me, she said.

As I followed her, her whole figure was gradually taking appreciable shape before my eyes as we moved from the passage which was not very illuminated to the reception office which was well lighted. Have a seat, she said. Thank you, I responded. I sat on a black couch which was right beside her office desk. She inquired my name and I told her. She put a call to someone, she spoke to the receiver on the other end "hello sir, good morning. Mr. Akalia is here" after some brief discussion ensued she hung up and turned to me and said "my boss is the one to interview you, he is not on seat now. He will join us shortly. Please be patient "
Alright, I said.

The whole time she was on a call I took time to observe her features, she had this thick, big-ass lips with a shade of red lipstick on. The kind of lips that is best suited for felatio, I thought to myself.
She was also full breasted, maybe not as roman goddess or cossy orjiokor but those set of tits would be endowed with succulent nipples, and would make a handful for handling, I thought to myself. My mind was just wandering naughty that it's focus had drifted away from my purpose of being there. In addition, she was dark in complexion, she reminded me of the porn actress on xvideo porn site called "shi reeve"

So I was lost in raunchy thoughts for a while but I got a grip of my mind after she ended the call.

It was well over 40 minutes while waiting for her boss (my supposed interviewer). I pretended to be toying with my phone while subtly observing her with the corner of my eyes, she was busy making up; applying her mary kay powder and her mascara and other make up kits. I needed to engage her in a convo but I just didn't know how to begin, guess I was just nervous, maybe shy.

So Akalia how did you get information that we are recruiting, she said .
It was a pleasant moment for me because the opportunity to engage her had showed up.
Well, I saw your advert on the nairaland job section, so I applied. I replied.

Do you have membership account on nairaland? She asked.

Oh yes, are you a nairalander? I asked.
Yea, she gracefully replied.

Wow, that's cool, what a pleasant coincidence, I said wearing my signatory charming smile.

She would disclose to me later on in the course of our convo her moniker on nairaland.
In the spirit of sharing the nairaland membership common ground with me she tried to put me through the job functions of the position I will be interviewed for. She also hinted on some likely questions that I might be asked and the appropriate answers. By this time she left her desk and came over to where I sat and sat close to me. She was so nice, sexy and fuc*able, as I had thought in mind.

One thing led to another, I won't really go into details but I found myself handling her tits, she was like "akalia this isn't right " I ignored her and unbuttoned her shirt half way,her boobs were exposed. She had no bra on. Her nipples were so big and hard, I headed for them as I locked onto one with my mouth while handling the other breast with my hand. She was just moaning softly and at some seconds interval would say "this is not right akalia ".

Ding dong! (the bell rang)

We both hurriedly detached ourselves from each other in a frantic manner, she quickly buttoned up, organised herself and headed for the door. I adjusted myself equally.

The boss walked in and I greeted him, he was a tall, fair young man. Maybe a bit older than myself. So this is the dude having this secretary all to himself, I thought In my dirty mind.

Cut long story short, the interview went down and I was made an offer but I declined because the salary structure was less than my expectation considering the fact that I earned higher where I was employed at the time.

I left shortly after the interview. Needless to mention the hot secretary I met who happened to be a nairalander ( name withheld ) used my phone to dial her number while I plucked it to charge under her care since I had a low battery.

Well, Outside the interview, we both met on different occasions and had some really raunchy moments together.

Entrepreneurship! Entrepreneurship! Entrepreneurship!
This has become a mantra every graduate of any higher institution in Nigeria must have heard over a million times. Looking at the level of unemployment in the country, I suppose this mantra has come to stay. But I won't be focusing on that. I will instead, be looking at why the few that have heed this call have failed. The answer seems far fetched but it is just a simple word that we are all too familiar with; ACCOUNTABILITY.

Femi was a brilliant chap as an undergraduate in the University of Lagos and graduated with a second class (Upper Division). He understood that the Nigerian labour market wasn't smiling so he secured enough scholarships while in school with the hope of having enough capital to start up a business after school. After school he was able to save up about five hundred thousand naira and the future was looking bright for the young man. True to his words, he set up a business as he wasn't ready to brace the stalls and shops of the labour market. And that was how Briggs Ltd was established.

Femi's market analysis was top notch, market penetration strategy was "lit" as the word goes, and the product was a crowd puller. Femi was so sure he had hit the jackpot with his product and in his mind he was going to a millionaire in months. Although turnover from the business was fast and steady, the business failed. Femi was devastated, he cursed the Nigerian factor but really the failure was from him. As a one-man business with limited capital, Femi was the Chief Executive Officer and Accountant of the same business. Although he tried to keep records of business activities at first but when sales started booming he was too preoccupied with maintaining sales that he could not keep up with recording. There was no accounting system in place to cover budgeting as well as tracking the business incomes and expenditures. And so began the downward spiral of the business. Operating costs like material procurement cost, transportation cost as well as electricity cost rose up to incredible heights that the business was barely breaking even, even though sales was still coming but because there was no record to check he did not notice. And that was how Briggs Ltd crumbled and failed.

I am an Accounting graduate from one of the leading federal universities in Nigeria where I bagged a Second Class (Upper Division) degree. As an erudite scholar, I was honored with two undergraduate scholarships from two international firms. In order to build myself in every capacity and to challenge myself the more, I have always maintained or attempted to maintain leadership of any function or team formation I have been opportune to be part of and the ones I have managed, I have performed admirably.

I can prepare, analyze and defend budgets, and simplify them to enable intending users grasp its usefulness. Budgets are useful tools in every business of today as they cover estimated income and expenditure over a set period. With proper budgeting one can easily plan and set a clear direction for one's business.

I am an excellent organizer with the ability to manage large data and also keep track of those responsibilities that are integral to the growth of an organization.

I am very flexible and always open to new knowledge. I am a firm believer in the quote "learning is a continuous process" and as such I relish every opportunity to deposit in my knowledge bank. I have enough knowledge in search engine optimization, online marketing and content creating courtesy of Google Digital Marketing for Africa program which I was opportune to participate in. I am also a skilled phone technician. I decided to learn this as a form of informal training.

I am a very proactive individual that believes that problems should be anticipated, since problem solving provides a better way of doing things. I have a knack for problem solving and as such, believe I will be valuable to solving current and future organizational problems.
I am also people-oriented. I subscribe to the school of thought that believe human resources is an organization's most important resource and as such maintaining interpersonal relationships is as important as driving sales.
I am adept in the use of Microsoft Office packages especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I am also skilled in the use of Wave accounting package which was self taught. I possess strong analytical skills which is as a result of exposing myself to diverse logical and complex problems.

I am quite positive that with the skills set I have garnered over the years, I will be a good fit for any dynamic firm that prioritize career growth and independence of it's workforce in task execution.
