I read Library and Information Science and had more interest in Programming/software development. Kind of confuse on courses related due to the fact I didn’t read any computer related courses.

I urgently need to know if yellow fever immunization is compulsory. I'm just hearing it's a new national policy and that it takes about 2 weeks to get it after paying the fee (2k naira) via remita.

I'm resuming at University of Kansas in about 2 weeks time so I barely have enough time. I eagerly await responses. Thank you all.

Something as important as this why not go to the place where you will take the Yellow Fever Vaccine or go to Port Health at the Airport to verify.

Every time its travel season this "yellow fever" talk and scare of POE comes up ................ Yellow fever is not required for US travel . Yes changes happen so i might have old information but if its now a policy where is posted on US Embassy site or any airline site ?. if its not then NO not needed for USA

it's not compulsory for travelling but some schools require it.

If you want to get a Yellow card so that you can feel you're not missing anything as you travel, go get it at public health centre close to you. It is N2500 or so, and I took one early this year at Health Centre Ikeja, not so far from the international airport. Just get it if you can.

You are right, the mandatory ones i saw is tuberculosis, Meningococcal Meningitis , Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Immunization
